Avoid being flagged for photos

I want to add some photos to my website. The photos are going to be exact same as the manufacturer photo (i have an online store. I am selling clearance products so for me no problem to mention the brand or give link to manufacturer website).

Is there a way to avoid being flagged by google. As i read the photos may have some scripts in it (maybe i am super wrong about it).

Also will a small edit on photoshop prevent such risks ?

Also shall i rewrite specifications of a certain product with new words ? because it will be 99% same as manufacturer site. How to avoid duplicate content ?

Download the photos and upload to your own server with unique name, then it's sure you won't trigger a flag. You may edit them in photoshop, if you're paranoid, but I wouldn't stress about it too much. For optimising your site, you can use your own alt tags for photos.

Images contain metadata like camera details, DPI, GPS, etc. Look for tools that can strip away metadata.

THanks it helps. Also for some data like spec sheet is there a way to avoid being penaltised ?thanks

I don't think you need to worry about penalties if you follow the steps above. News sites share images everyday, it could only affect the image search - obviously the original source will be listed with the photo before you.

I agree to the suggestions they mentioned. If you just follow them right. There won't be any problem.

what about certain content ? As mentioned specifications of a product hard to change .
