Automatic Video Blogging (Blogspot + Youtube)

Hi,

This is my first post in BHW and I have learned many things from experts like you here.

I would like to share the idea that I have successfully implemented and would like your suggestion to improve it and monetize it.

Idea: Automatic video blogging (Blogspot + Youtube)

Tools Used: Microsoft Excel + VBA + Selenium (I have more than 10 yrs of professional web page automation experience)

How it works:
1. I have created a video blog using blogspot on the desired domain (Cooking, Dogs)
2. Created a bot that
> Search youtube for a keyword
> Gathers the Title, Description & Keywords used in top 10 videos that are legal to share
> Save the result to a spreadsheet
3. Bot then opens the blogger blog and add the copied content in my desired format as a post and publish it

Could anyone please suggest me how I can monetize this approach?

Nice work! The demo looks great! Have you seen any organic visitors to the site yet? You could even start a service selling this to other people who want this kind of thing. I would also recommend setting up a Twitter account and automatically posting to Twitter each time you add a new post.

Thanks for your suggestion.. I have linked blogger with google plus and also used ifttt to publish the post on facebook.. so I am getting some organic views for the posts around 200 / day on the day of posting

It`s an interesting aproach, but doesn`t google bot sees it as duplicate content when it crawls the blog?
I`m wondering because YT is part of Google so for you to rank in google with copied titles would be really dope
If it works, you could easily sell this as a service or just go ahead and grow sites on different niches and rank them.
You could monetize it with Taboola or something simiar.

There use to be a software called niche video site builder or nvsb in short. It use to do it automatically without taking much help from excel. One of the best thing of that was the links were dynamic and didnt clog up the server space. I am sure some similar software must be around that pretty much does the same stuff manually. That will save time.

Thabjs for your comments ... The bot that i have add a custom text to the title of the post hence the title won't be duplicate but the content of the post is the description of the video thanks for mentioning i will do a content spinning.. Don't know if google still thinks it as duplicate...

Good idea. Are all traffic from Google (not Google+) or from FB ?
