Autoblogging is not completely auto. There is a lot of setup involved in the beginning. Don't expect to drop some plugins in and see the traffic and cash roll in on autopilot. You need to spend time learning what plugins do what and test their effectiveness on your own. What works for others may not work for you. Same goes the other way around. In the long run, if you spent enough time setting it up correctly, the blog does become more 'auto' which means there is a lot less maintenance that needs to be done than if your blog was completely manual. Consider starting with a combination of both. Setup the foundation for your blog to be an autoblog with various plugins, but consider posting manually and implementing the common traffic generation methods as well. Over time, you'll find a groove what works good and what doesn't for you and you can tweak accordingly if needed. Also understand that you may find more success by playing the numbers game. Don't get too wrapped up in just making 1 blog, build many based on many different niches. You don't want to spend all of your time on just 1, making it 'perfect' only to come to find out that it's in the wrong niche and won't bring traffic or cant be monetized properly.
