Hello lovely people,

First of all I'd like to really thank everyone on this forum who post OC as well as those who reply with great, insightful answers. It's a pleasure to read basically everything on here and learn something new each time.

Anyways...

So after kind of giving up on an amazon site (again) I really wanted to focus on something long term.

I'm fortunate enough to speak two languages so I decided to try and build up an authority site in my other native tongue, Spanish. Competition is not as fierce, and there are so many country opportunities that I felt it was a no-brainer to at least try.

The focus is on one of the big niches, so it's one of these : Health, Money, Tech, Gambling, Internet Marketing, etc.

I started writing content in Mid March, and I'm up to about 15k words of content right now, and will start outsourcing some soon.

I'm writing longer (from 2500 to 5000 word) articles for regular keywords with not too much competition, and then started trying to see if I could find some good KGR fitting keywords to at least gain traction when I finally go live. I'm thinking of going live with about 30k words at the minimum, but not sure. If anybody has any tips or opinions on how much content is good to launch a site with I'm all ears

Here is a screenshot of my KGR sheet with each keywords' breakdown for KGR. A couple of other keywords are thrown in that are either above 250 searches or there are not a lot of exact matches in the "allintitle" So in case, column headings are:

Keyword / AllinTitle / Search Volume / Keyword Difficulty

I've also been thinking if I should just buy the domain now so it can at least start aging a bit, but then I feel I should just buy it when I have all my content ready and am ready for actual launch.

I have no idea what to name it, if I should make myself the "face" of the site or make something more generic (but personable) in case someone would purchase the site in the future.

So that's it for now until launch hopefully, or if something else happens before then!

is there any reason why you are holding on to launching the website until you reach the 30k threshold? Why not just build the site and publish the content as you write it? Is there any advantage on doing it that way?

How are you going to monetize your site? Adsense, CPA offers, other?
I also speak Spanish, better than English, I wanted to start a site around a CPA offer. Maybe about weight loss or whatever I find with low competition.
How are you gonna do your keyword research?
