Hi guys,

I am finding my way in SEO thanks to a lot of great members here. Recently i am landing clients which ofcourse I am very thrilled about. Just now I had an appointment at a bigger potential client who asked me to do a complete audit of his website on how he can improve his SEO and to come up with a plan for SEO untill the end of this year. Has anyone here have any experience which such an audit and what to look out for. At the moment I asked his google analytics account as well as webmaster tools for extra info and consider looking into:

- Keyword research
- Competition research
- Site speed
- Is the website optimized for mobile/tablet
- Anchors / backlinks (current)
- Site optimization in the form of landing pages
- Site optimization by using keywords in text h1 h2 h3
- Internal linking structure
- Chat function on website

Any more ideas?

Hi there! I`d recommend WesbiteAuditor (am a big fan myself). It`s less pricey than ScreamingFrog, for instance, but same comprehensive. Covers all the points you`ve listed, and lots of other cool stuff like indexation and crawlability issues, all kinds of tech issues, and runs the optimization audit in comparison to top competitors.
