copyright of what? with images for example argo is taking care of that by not scraping google images, but a site that offers CC-0 images that for sure don't cause copyright issues.
well it can be used to create content for web 2.0's, but if you mean wp based ones, then that only works if you can install plugins. its mainly ment for self hosted sites though, however in future updates there will be support for more CMS's and external services as well though.
sure it would run out today, but i've extended it a last time till saturday now just in case you are too wasted then there is still enough time to chill out first lol

How's the spinner? Does it just replace synonyms or does it do sentence/paragraph level spinning? I checked the demo page and ran copyscape so it found some content (assuming not spun) and I did not read the rest. As we know simple synonym replacement is not really good in producing readable content , so any example you can share would be useful. thx

it is synonym and paragraph spinning and i'm also working on a NLP implementation, but that will still take a while. other than that its also combined with other text manipulation methods, so its not just simple spinning. the generated text works perfectly fine to rank on google and copyscape doesn't matter at all even if it would show some dups! google doesn't care about copyscape thats a fact, besides the duplicate content penalty is a myth, even google denies that it exists at all (they say only in very rare cases it would cause issues for example where sites are copied completely).
that being said, argo can very well create readable content, but it can also create markov text that is ment as spider food and mostly useful for cloaking. so it all depends how its configured as there are many different ways to use the software, its very flexible and thus there is not only one way to go about things. for example argo is using a base text to have a base of thematically identical text. it depends on the quality of that and the settings how the text will look like. if its more mangled or if its readable. if you feed it crappy text in first place, it won't be able to generate good output. if you give it good written content as base, it can create similar text that is readable and synonymized. you can either create that file yourself (which you then can use to create many sites out of) or you can scrape the text with the included article scraper. then it depends on the article quality. if you scrape say already (badly) spun articles, then the output will be similar. since the article scraper lets you select and clean articles from which you want to generate the base text from, you can get some good quality depending on how much effort you put behind it.
once that is done you can generate thousands of pages with the same base text and it will work for sure with google as of date. just have a look at the last demo blog http://wpdemo1.argo-content.com it was created without much effort, sent a few (spammy) backlinks and since then nothing. its still indexed and it ranks for some med/low terms in the weight loss niche which has high competition. even the very old demo sites back from 2011 are still indexed so that should tell everything
since argo exists (about 7 years now) not a single google update caused any issues or got argo sites deindexed, so its fair to say that it works very well! otherwise i wouldn't claim that, as i'm not like other sellers who promise guaranteed #1 rankings just to make a sale. well, so hope that helps to understand it better and just let me know in case you have more questions,thanks!

FYI the thread has been re-opened! It was closed as i didnt renew my membership yet, so now that i did, the thread is open to replies again!
here are the latest news from the last update:
CHANGES IN VERSION 1.9.7.7 :
- optimized wordpress core engine to make the use of the "root-cookie" plugin obsolete and allow login to vanilla wordpress installs, also on so called "web 2.0" free hosting providers.
- added spin blacklist for words that shouldn't be auto spinned.
- added optional parameter to cms_config.txt to specifiy the post amount.
- updated automatic wordpress installation mode.
- modified date picker for post schedulling to static date format.
- enabled "Unique Title" option for CMS mass mode.
- fixed issue within external link frequency not being accurately calculated
- fixed a bug within the interlinking/external links counters in CMS mode which was introduced in one of the last updates (only affected version > 1.9.7.1).
- added function to remove custom code placeholder, if the setting isn't anbled in CMS mode.
- various minor code logic optimizations.

of course argo can completely automate wordpress (unlike other tools that mostly just post via xml-rpc or email)
it can install themes, plugins, change the settings and even install or update wordpress, also in mass mode on multiple blogs at once multithreaded.
once configured you can easily switch themes with the click of a single button. argo will download a new random theme from the official wordpress repository, install and then activate it within a few seconds usually.
if you dont like it, just hit the button again and you got a new theme.
