Hey BHW members!

Since joining BHW i have been seeing people discussing about many things other than SEO and moneymaking but haven't yet seen a thread about Gaming interests of the BHW members.

I was a crazy Gaming freak before joining BHW and starting my IM career but now i hardly get time for Games. My PC game favorites are Counter Strike, Need for Speed, Age of Empires, etc.

So i just like to ask you about your experiences as a Gamer (if you are/were) as most of the computer freak people are crazy gamers. Are you one of them? Share your experience! :D :D :D

More of a ps3 gamer than PC, I usually like to play COD blops (black ops)
 
I was into gaming the first year I started computing.
I used to play "Descent". That was back in the days
of Windows 3.1. It ate up all of my time for about
one year. Then after I got through all of the levels,
I hung up my gamer's hat. Although it was a lot of
fun, I realized that I wasn't getting anything done.

Haven't gamed since . . . :)

Who isn't a gamer nowadays?

I personally consider myself a gamer, even though I don't spend more than 1 hour per week playing games, since I don't have the time.

Favourite games must be some classic ones like: Quake 2, Half-Life 1, Super Mario 64, Sanitarium, Icewind Dale, Planescape Torment, Fallout 2 and Septera Core...
But my latest fav games must be Skate 3, Uncharted 3 and Battlefield 3 on Jailbroken PS3 :)
 
Yea def... i killed hundreds of hours on diablo 2, call of duty MW (the original), also remember playiing a lot of age of empires, heroes of might and magic 3, starcraft, etc. big fan of blizzard and rpg games

ton of street fighter and super mario world for SNES as well :)
 
Used to play a few games, but I was never really a big time gamer. I see too many of my friends wasting their time playing PS3 and Xbox all day. I personally find it to be a waste of time, but again, we all have our own hobbies. :)
 
Oh geez where do I start.

My current game of choice is Starcraft 2, I play in tournaments and stuff to make some fun side cash when I am not busy with my seo clients and such.

I am a sucker for the old console games like mega man, super mario, final fantasy, etc...

Just bought stock in Activision Blizzard Inc. before Diablo 3 comes out and it will spike due to that and the fact that starcraft 2 isn't done expanding on the franchise.

So yes I play vids, have thousands of hours logged, and I make money doing it :p
 
i love the GOD of war series..

and i wasted my months in playing prince of persia..

but before SEO.
i was addict to gaming..;)
 
I love games. Don't have much time to play anymore sadly. I love all the Mario Bros games. Liked Halo and want to have time to enjoy the WII but not yes.

I have a game forum but need to probably sell it b/c I have no time with everything else to play the games and stay active.

I can tell you though I have a ton of members on that forum so I know gaming is still very much alive.

Im the same dude, but I try to make at least half an hour to an hour for games just to help chill. I mainly like sorts games like tiger woods, fifa, pes, madden and especially football manager but you cant beat a bit of assassins creed or C.O.D
 
Since I started IM, i had much less time for gaming. Still didn't finish Dead Space 2 from last year and it's almost a new year :DD
 
Played some a while back but it kinda of got repetitive and boring.
 
I play games but only competitive one. Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat, Starcraft
 
I am a gamer, I don't game a lot, I liked PS1 games better than these new games, 99% of the games i download are pirated, only multilayer games I pay for (NOT World of Warcraft, don't like MMORPG), I bought 2 games for 120 euro recently

If skyrim doens't come on torrent tomorrow, I'll just buy it (can't wait haha, people say it's epic).
 
Used to play Street Fighter 2 all the time. Was the best, probably still am. Could probably take on anyone here...
 
At this moment...not really. I hope in future i will have more time for games. In the past...hardcore mmorpg. I spend around 7 years playing Lineage 2 all day. My brain is still damaged. I like a lot of games but my favorites are: GTA, Driver, NFS, UT and Tekken.
 
Guilty as charged...

CS 1.5 - 2 years
CS 1.6 - 2 years (maybe even more)
WOW - 2-3 years
 
Playin games is a waste of time.Very unproductiv and even you use it as relax after gaming you always need another break :)
 
Runescape. Now, before you scoff, that game taught me how to WORK hard to get a reward. I mean grinding away for days on end to get some logs or something.. then selling it for a hat..

Other than that, I'd say, GTA4, and GT5. I'm 21, and I pay GTA4 every so often while i'm waiting for various things to complete.
