It is right in the image. Daily Dose of Internet. What is the site you are checking?
Do you remember your friend's stats other than the revenue?I would say that they are even significantly underestimated. Of course, it all depends on the region, content, and audience, but I can give an example using my best friend. He is among the top 20 largest YouTubers in the CIS region and also streams. I haven’t directly looked into his wallet, but three years ago he mentioned to me that his total income from YouTube partnerships and direct advertisers far exceeds 4 million dollars a year, even though the CIS is one of the lowest-paid regions for YouTube.
I think back then he had around 2 million subscribers on YouTube and 250-300 thousand followers on his Twitch channel. But again, it’s hard to interpret this if you’re from the U.S., for example, because most of my friend’s income was from affiliates with various online casino sites, and I’m not sure how American law works in that case(assuming you are from the US by your nickname) But as far as I know, the income of English-speaking streamers is about 3-10 times higher than that of CIS streamers, so it’s not that important. The key is that if you can build an audience of at least 100,000 on YouTube, you’ll make enough money to stop working and do this full-time.Do you remember your friend's stats other than the revenue?
Views, subs, etc?
I don't have the creativity or the energy to build out a channel but I know if I had the energy, I could come up with enough creativity to bank on YT.
If I am subpar and think I can do it, some of you that have skills there should be filling your wheelbarrows with cash.
You have a fair amount of knowledge... you are going to be someone to follow on this forum as you move along on your journey here on the forum.I think back then he had around 2 million subscribers on YouTube and 250-300 thousand followers on his Twitch channel. But that`s the trick it might seem like easy money and all that, but I once tried to become a YouTuber myself. My friend, who could’ve helped me a lot at the start for sure, so I had better conditions than many others, plus I’m pretty charismatic in real life. But even with all that, it turned out to be incredibly tough. Spending 40 hours editing a video while having a full-time job, paying bills, filming content, coming up with ideas, and not seeing immediate results, your motivation fades pretty quickly. I think the best time to start this kind of career is when you’re still young and can live with your parents. That way, you can really dedicate time to it. Or, you have to be a truly unique person and be ready to go all in.I think back then he had around 2 million subscribers on YouTube and 250-300 thousand followers on his Twitch channel. Even if one of those that have skills can achieve 25% of that it would be great to see.
Or you can just throw a little bit of money at it. There are people offering services to do professional made youtube videos.Spending 40 hours editing a video while having a full-time job, paying bills, filming content, coming up with ideas, and not seeing immediate results, your motivation fades pretty quickly. It doesn't work like that, mate. You can hire video editors once you're successful and have a trusted audience. But at the beginning, you should handle it with your own vision and creativity, something no one else can replicate. Alternatively, you could invest a lot of money and approach it on a commercial basis, but even then, it won't last long.Or you can just throw a little bit of money at it.
