I would say that they are even significantly underestimated. Of course, it all depends on the region, content, and audience, but I can give an example using my best friend. He is among the top 20 largest YouTubers in the CIS region and also streams. I haven’t directly looked into his wallet, but three years ago he mentioned to me that his total income from YouTube partnerships and direct advertisers far exceeds 4 million dollars a year, even though the CIS is one of the lowest-paid regions for YouTube.

no wonder, i see this dude everywhere. with that infamous monotone voice " this guuuy gneu gneu gneu ".
he uploads like there is no tomorrow.

Do you remember your friend's stats other than the revenue?

Views, subs, etc?

I don't have the creativity or the energy to build out a channel but I know if I had the energy, I could come up with enough creativity to bank on YT.

If I am subpar and think I can do it, some of you that have skills there should be filling your wheelbarrows with cash.

I think back then he had around 2 million subscribers on YouTube and 250-300 thousand followers on his Twitch channel. But again, it’s hard to interpret this if you’re from the U.S., for example, because most of my friend’s income was from affiliates with various online casino sites, and I’m not sure how American law works in that case(assuming you are from the US by your nickname) But as far as I know, the income of English-speaking streamers is about 3-10 times higher than that of CIS streamers, so it’s not that important. The key is that if you can build an audience of at least 100,000 on YouTube, you’ll make enough money to stop working and do this full-time.

I don't know how he does it with that nasally voice and compilations of other people's videos, but that guy has been consistently popular with massive views for years now

You have a fair amount of knowledge... you are going to be someone to follow on this forum as you move along on your journey here on the forum.

Even if one of those that have skills can achieve 25% of that it would be great to see.

But that`s the trick it might seem like easy money and all that, but I once tried to become a YouTuber myself. My friend, who could’ve helped me a lot at the start for sure, so I had better conditions than many others, plus I’m pretty charismatic in real life. But even with all that, it turned out to be incredibly tough. Spending 40 hours editing a video while having a full-time job, paying bills, filming content, coming up with ideas, and not seeing immediate results, your motivation fades pretty quickly. I think the best time to start this kind of career is when you’re still young and can live with your parents. That way, you can really dedicate time to it. Or, you have to be a truly unique person and be ready to go all in.

Appreciate your kind words, mate.

Well, it just so happened that my friend from the village became, if you can say, a "Ghetto Star" and shared all of that with me. On my part, I was interested in the same career, haha. But as I’ve grown up, I’ve put aside my silly ambitions for now.

Or you can just throw a little bit of money at it. There are people offering services to do professional made youtube videos.

It doesn't work like that, mate. You can hire video editors once you're successful and have a trusted audience. But at the beginning, you should handle it with your own vision and creativity, something no one else can replicate. Alternatively, you could invest a lot of money and approach it on a commercial basis, but even then, it won't last long.

it looks fake I always though those kind of numbers were fake but after seeing some of the big youtubers who show their faces I asked how they do it is really incredible how much they can do, destiny or luck don't know but they hit the jackpot really lucky.

Usually these spy tools are wildly inaccurate.

But with this channel the cpm's can be accurate though. Im betting he has extremely high view through rate on his long form videos.
These type of videos you pretty much watch the whole video and im assuming he has a huge US following.

Hmm looking at thiss number I though I should start a travel blog or coooking blog, or talk shit haha
It is not that much easy now.
