Are there different formats for posting backlinks?

    So I know the typical format of using: ( sorry, I cannot post the example since
    it's a link and im new). But Its like: it has a href then link then >keyword< and <a> mark.

    But what if you just add a link without that html code? Like this:
    Sorry, I cannot post a link since I'm new, but what Im saying is just a
    link without any html format to it. Like the site url and nothing esle. Does that count as a backlink?

    Also, how about other links, such as clickable profile names?
    Say you comment on a particular article, your profile user shows up
    that is clickable, can that be crawled by Google spiders if they stumble
    upon it?

    Also, are all links considered "Do follow" as long as they have no rel=Nofollow or
    can they still be No follow regardless of that phrase when inspecting the link?

    Basically 3 questions, really keen to know the answers to!
