Are there any advantages to aging a domain?

I am building a website and wondering if there is any advantage to launching it right now while the website isn't fully completed.

Would registering the domain name and launching an incomplete website right now help the website gain authority?

Or should I just wait until I'm finished coding up the website and then launch the website?

What is your website about? How much has it been completed? I think it would be more optimal for you to perfect it all and then run it

It's a one page website that effectively acts as a directory. I have a "completed" version but I still want to add more content to it and fine tune some things.

The website as it is right now is functional and useful which is why I thought maybe it's better to just go ahead and launch it.

If domain age is an important factor for thing then it might be better to just launch what I have.

Building site first and launching is the best solution. However I don't think aging your domain that way is gonna help you.

I everytime launch a site as soon as I can) just to feed it to Google crawlers so it gains a bit age and recognition. But that's just me.

Do you feel like it helps with anything? I feel like domain age was something that mattered in the early 2000s but not as much right now.

I'm trying to collect information from people.

Again it's not incomplete, it's just that I have more things I want to add to it.

Right now it's "good enough" and I'm wondering if it's better to just get something online.
Nah work on it until it's exactly how you want it
