Are PBN backlink still useful now?

PBNs haven't become completely ineffective, but they're no longer a strategy you can apply carelessly.

I own 35 websites in one niche, built with AI content. Some were created before the AI era and still use scraped or rehashed content, and some interlink while others don't. I don't call them PBNs myself since those are money sites. Sometimes they act as tier 1, but most of the time they don't. I create websites but not as PBNs - or at least I don't call them that. Even thinking about it makes it seem fishy. My entire backlink strategy is tiered link building, and sometimes I use these sites as tier 1, but most of the time they're money sites.
Technically, if you can rank a website, then yes, a PBN is also a website that ranks.

Generally it works if it is built well. and it is for short term no doubt.

A quick quality check saves a lot of time later... I always look for relevance and consistent publishing first.
PBNs may be useful in some scenarios but the danger is significantly higher. the value of quality, relevancy nd authenticity of a PBN is highly increased today. poor quality PBNs may be more harmful than benefficial to a website nd building an authority still seems more promissing.

If the PBNS are high quality will it work ! Just dont use some spam PBNS that are abused with a lot of posts..... bettery build this yourself these PBNS

Yes they are useful for domain authority if they are of high quality or authority such as i have 10,000+ PBN backlinks with DA DR 70+ high quality and high authority with google INDEXING 60% for every niche
They don't leave a spam as they are 0% spam

Its all depending on what kind of PBNs do you use. I have seen many sellers here use spammy domains in their PBN network and very few services that actually offers a quality PBN service

Building your own is way better than buying those spam packages people try to sell you in PMs. @ShinchanGCR if you actually want to manage them properly, footprint hiding is the main thing. use different registrars, different hosts (not just different IPs on the same reseller account, actually different companies), and never link them to each other. also do not use the same analytics or search console. make them look like actual local businesses or hobby sites, not just blank blogs with one article and a link... it takes time but that is how you keep them alive.

I Wouldn’t use PBNs just to increase DA, since DA is only a third-party metric, A clean, Relevant backlink's profile is more important, and poor PBN link's can leave a bad footprint.
