Are PBN backlink still useful now?

Building your own is way better than buying those spam packages people try to sell you in PMs. @ShinchanGCR if you actually want to manage them properly, footprint hiding is the main thing. use different registrars, different hosts (not just different IPs on the same reseller account, actually different companies), and never link them to each other. also do not use the same analytics or search console. make them look like actual local businesses or hobby sites, not just blank blogs with one article and a link... it takes time but that is how you keep them alive.

I Wouldn’t use PBNs just to increase DA, since DA is only a third-party metric, A clean, Relevant backlink's profile is more important, and poor PBN link's can leave a bad footprint.

PBN backlinks can still move DA/DR and rankings in some cases, especially when the sites are relevant and have real authority.

The quality of the network matters poor spammed PBNs can leave toxic signals and create long term risk.
