micro niche sites have low compit.. and have no hard time to survive so its profitable for sure
 
It really depends on how exactly you establish the site. But everything works if done the right way and never leave the site with just 5 articles, keep it growing until you hit a maximum of 200 articles. Hope that helps!
 
Microniches are my favorite as of recently. I plan to dominate the real estate in my micro niche with multiple sites:)

I think in high quantity. I have about 10 microniche sites making an average of $100 each per month. Individually it's not a lot, but I'm making about $1k a month doing absolutely nothing (minus hosting costs). But personally I've been getting more into local lead generation but that's another story.
 
Micro niche sites use to be profitable for me back then when Google use to rank those sites easily, but now its much harder. Instead I found a different way to direct traffic to my sites without using any SEO and waiting months to see results.

That's interesting. May I ask what sort of traffics are they? Only hints will be enough appreciated!

So, on a new site, at least 100-200 good quality articles are necessary to get it ranked?

Micro Niche always works and you can see its beauty when coupled with long tail keywords.
 
I have the same question.
In my experience SEO is very costly these days. So I'm curious about the ROI of a micro niche site.

Best Advice is start with an authority site in mind and build first the micro niche version of your site. However movies niche are quite competitive and you must know the exact monetization way.

I would say you to start with a normal micro niche site in a general category with low competition mid/long tail keywords.

Then slowly convert it into authority in your niche.
 
A lot of luck is involved. There are various other easy methods to make money online with more certainity.

How do you define "micro niche"?

You mention a movie site.... would a micro niche be something like a horror film site? That's actually a huge category.

An example: bloody-disgusting.com is a niche horror film site - it has over 100k indexed pages.

You need to look at the specific niche to determine whether your actual micro niche idea could work. In film, I'd say no. In other categories, you might do better. Think of some keywords that you would target and Google them... do you see any other micro niche sites ranking?

This is bullshit. I have many one page micro niche websites with just one article on home page ranked good for few years staying there.

When I see these replies from people (you’re not the only one) who say you need to make articles frequently and have 10-100 of them to have proper rank positions I get diarrhea.

What you need is HQ backlinks and optimized on page SEO, HQ well written enganging content.
Anything else is bullshit.

I mean maybe you can rank like that, but it’s not the only way and will probably will take you at least one year to start seeing results. But that’s not the ONLY way to rank site.
