Anything bad on using Nulled Wordpress plugins?

Hey, is there anything bad about using nulled wordpress plugins if I continuously update to the latest version?

What kind of issues and security issues will I have on using nulled plugins that people say?

beside moral side , the guy who updated the nulled plugin have free access to your site(s) ...
 
They can be backdoored, so your website can be hacked at any time

Wow. Didnt know that. So, anytime the guy or the team who nulled the thing, can access my site and there is no damn way I can prevent that except buying the plugin?

yep you could say that , same concept of installing cracked software on your laptop , the guy who made the crack could implement encrypted trojan to spy/control your laptop ....

I've never experienced any nulled plugins being backdoored. There surely are plenty bad nulled plugins out there, but as long as you're careful it's fine.

You might want to NOT keep updating to the latest version, which is opposite to what your original post said. Gives more opportunity for a bad version to get in.

So you still use nulled plugins till date?
 
You can use nulled plugins, themes, etc. BUT always check the code on Virustotal.com, just upload the whole .zip. This can help to know if there are any shells inside. If there are some, check out the code (if you know something about PHP etc), otherwise ask others to check the file and probably remove the malicious code. (I know, Virustotal isnt the best option, but its G to help newbies)

But why to get nulled plugins when you can but the same plugin at $5
 
Been using WordPress for years now and when I started I used nulled plugins to cut corners and save cost which came at a huge loss at the end, lost so many of my client’s site due to a ddos attack, now I’ll advice anyone using WordPress not to use a nulled plugin unless you know the person that cracked it, but hey! Big S/O to @Festinger he has a huge list of premium themes and plugins, it has been super helpful to me lately.

We are not running Facebook or Amazon to get worried. You are just fine with the nulled one. Only thing is that you can't get an update to try new features. So buy a nulled version from a genuine seller instead of directly downloading it to avoid issues. You can check the malicious codes using exploit scanner and TAC plugins.
 
There may be several reason for this issue. But i have never faced these kind of problems. The one thing is that you can use any other plugin instead.
 
Nothing bad if you are getting that nulled plugin from a trusted source.
