Anyone Use BlueHost hosting? Are they any good?

Was just wondering if anyone on the forum has used BlueHost hosting and how there actual up-time is and is anyone has had any experience with the customer support? Currently looking to switch my hosting provider and am stuck between BlueHost and HostGator. Also i saw web dot com offers hosting for 99cents a month..... they have to be garbage right?

Don't know about hostgator but i know about blueHost, my personnal experience with them will be (in french) : Beurk ! Only my advice

Blue host are good, and i don't have any issues with them, but they don't have a monthly payment, its year upfront.

Seems like a lot of people are going self-hosted for the first time. I currently have hostgator, have not had any problems with them, and their customer service has been good so far.

I at first was debating between bluehost and hostgator, but I started off with hostgator's baby package.

Do not get bluehost, they have really bad downtime and always blame it on you.

Plus they both have cloudflare setup options, for CDN, i don't know about other hosts but they are the only 2 i use. If your confident that your site will earn, then choose either, if your new and just starting, maybe best with host gator to get the 0.01 coupon, and the monthly payment setup.
