Yeah if you are pretty active on the group and have an influence over it you can easily pull in good amount of views.
But if you are only into the group to promote your stuff then it wont work since other users will just skip it or report to the admin.

So the key is to post video in a relevant category of group and also try to become an active member. Else you will be just wasting time
