Keen to run some ads on there in the next few days but have NO EXPERIENCE with the platform.

Do I really understand what you wrote above

I don't unfortunately
 
I tried posting on mybid, under the popunder type of ads, and it backfired immediately, it just got 30-40k bots to my site from Rio, Brazil in 1 hour, which just corrupted my data.
 
Starting fresh on new ad platforms? Focus on testing small budgets to learn what works before scaling up
