Anyone had luck doing promotions/shout-outs on reddit?

I'm running a NSFW subreddit and I'm thinking about monetization techniques.

Right now I'm just searching through the threads and clustering methods and techniques users here mentioned. Somehow none of them really mentioned promotions or shout-outs.

1. Is it allowed to do it without getting banned?
2. Is it viable and
3. Anyone mind sharing his technique?

For instance my idea would be to do a shoutout to a onlyFans model or an artist that draws NSFW pictures. I guess you need to cloak it as normal post since reddit dislikes advertisement and making money through subreddits.

I guess nobody is.

I've got a similar issue with an upcoming product drop. I was planning on approaching the mods of the relevant subreddits, and seeing if I could do it.

But, last time I couldn't get any mods to respond, so I had to enlist the heavy posters and have them cloak the promo in a review/discussion

The problem with these types of methods is that you can't really bot it. The discussions etc. are always dynamic and different. Sure if you sell a product that is worth couple thousands then it's ok because you get a good cut but for small products it's not worth doing imo.


I'm gonna note that down regardless. Maybe I get ideas to improve it and make it easier :D
 
Promotions in NSFW subreddits as sticky post for example can work very well.

Thanks will try that. I assume you have to do it in a discrete manner to not get banned?
 
It depends on the fact, what you wanna do.
If you promote CPA offers for example, yes you have to do it discrete.
But to sticky a model for example, with the onlyfans in the comments is no problem in my experience.
 
1) you can charge girls to promote on your subreddit
(ie: if they want to post their social media tags, verify with you first and then we'll give you a speical tag; tell them you charge $100)

2) you can charge to have 'girl of the month' posted on the side of the reddit sub.... link to her OF or something.

That's my idea.
 
i saw some girl promoting onlyfans on reddit by posting onlyfans link on profile and posting on nsfw subs, so people visit her profile and check the link

Its work really good, im currently working with some of model and i promote them on reddit and with a bot i boost all the upvotes, the traffic is really good
 
I have 3 really big subs (together around 1.2mil members) and my idea is to offer to OF girls sticky post of her with title - girl/ass/tits/whatever of the month with link in sticky comment.

But how do you guys find girls?
I guess I can start sending DM*s to girls that promote OF on Reddit....but as you know it's enough to one girl send screenshot of your offer from her DM to admins and my account and subs are gone.

So how do you find girls?

Most of the girls have the DMs close. Are you sharing the administration of the sub? I don't understand this part.

thats will lead your subreddit to a ban, you cant make money with that, you'll get reported by that girls

You need to find a way for girls or agency owners to contact you first out of reddit, there are some telegram groups full of agencies so I would advise to create a network with them. As an agency owner I myself would highly benefit of that service.
