Anyone else using notes to write what they will do which day?

I'd be more surprised if someone successful didn't write out their to-do's/plans a few days ahead.

I would feel like a camel in a jungle if I didn't know what work I would be doing tomorrow, haha. I write my plans on a piece of paper though.

Probably the best 5€ I have ever spent

I don't write down what I have to do, it's right in front of me, dammit! lol when I finish this project, then I have 2 others and all my admin. I do keep a bookmark of all my tasks I should do though. I think that's key, you have to understand what you shouldn't be doing as well as what you should. All successful people are high-performance procrastinators. I have things like checking website stats, checking earnings, checking sales, etc., but I'll check them myself, I don't need something to remind me, I just use curiosity.

I've tried Monday.com, clickup, and a couple of others, but nothing I feel is as good as just writing down on a blank doc what needs done or spreadsheet, if you are thinking about lots of parts.

Anything that needs done, I just do it right away, when the issue arises.

Every day, mate. I stick my to-do list right on my iMac in front of me.

If I don’t plan out at least five tasks, my whole day feels like a free-for-all. Five tasks max, then anything extra gets bumped to tomorrow.

Sticky notes are my lifeline! :D

Yes, I write every special thing's in the Dairy, white board, pieces of paper, sticky notes around the work place, etc..

Writing is one of the Good Habits to follow..
In school days, college days - we are all followed writing, reading habits..
But soon after completion of Studies, We fail to follow writing habits.

Tbh, I wish to follow writing habits. Don't know how it stopped, maybe the situations...

Thanks for Heads Up, I'm going to follow "Daily writing habits in 2025 without Breaking the chain like before.

Well, no. I keep track of the things which I need to do in my mind. And I don't procrastinate.
I tried writing everything down in Todoist in my teens and it sooo didn't work for me... I try to do things right away, the rest I have on my Google Calendar (service delivery deadlines, sales calls, visa deadlines, bills deadlines, etc). It's more that I sort tasks by importance in my head, so outreach and sales dms/calls right away, part of service delivery as fast as possible after I get the money, when I have more time other things. When I'm free/bored suddenly everything else gets done eh.

I used to write everything down on calendar for years like this. Started off like appointments, bills due, birthdays, etc. Then got to the point I had like 15-20 things each day even small things! I needed my list to keep it all straight and maximize my progress, but then I felt my memory suffered while depending on my lists! I realized I did not need it, and my memory improved. Both ways had pros and cons for me.

i hope am not the only one writing every 3 days what i will do the next 3 days and focus on, sometimes it feels weird lol:suspicious::confused:
I have three jobs in different places and in different areas at the same time. And - yes, I try to make notes about each place separately. It helps when transitioning to a new job.
