Anyone else having this ranking problem?

It seems that everytime i push new links to a website, the rankings almost instantly decrease and stay like that for two weeks if not more before getting to the same rankings and higher. I get that with anu kinds of links, normal diversity ones or different kinds of PBNs and on different kinds of websites on different hostings i even tested the theory building a type of links to one website and a different type to another one, same results. I get that on old websites and new ones too

I've noticed this too. I think it may have something to do with Penguin 4.0 doing an evaluation of the links before they give them their due credit. Not sure though. I would like to know if anyone else has info on this.

Yea Google is just giving you some rope to see if you're going to spam the site before they move you up. It's just the search engine dance :/

That's weird. What's the point of dropping a site's ranking?

Read the google patents, the algo is made to lie.

When you get new links the algo either shows you really high rankings, drops your rankings, or makes your rankings dance up and down. Over time it shows your true rankings. Its all in the patent.

They do this to trick SEO's, keep it a guessing game so you dont know exactly what helped you rank.

Its not hard to figure out but its not as easy as building 10 links and in 1 hour you see your 100% true ranking.

Google Algorithm changes rapidly. and also you build string backlinks from much more high authority sites and from Niche based sites. It keeps you more strong in SERP level..I just recommend this kind of links

I too have a similar problem as OP. The problem started from first week of December. Earlier when i use to add PBN link ,I would see movement in a week 's time. But now every time add a link, ranking drops and shows old ranking again. Any thoughts how to overcome this issue.

PBNs are beaten to death by Google. I dont recommend using it anymore. If you do,keep an eye on which type of PBN you are building link with. Dont forget the good neighbour and bad neighbour concept

Absolutely agree with you. Initially you get scared if you bought the wrong service but it just needs time to see the stabilized ranking. It is taking almost 6 weeks but patience pays off
