Retail owns the entire float, maybe 3-4x over. Barrons just reported margin debt at $936B (up 40% from the same time last year), and AMC is still one of the most heavily shorted stocks on the market. Hedge funds
must close out their positions eventually, and they could have done it at $5 but they continued to short. Also, if you look at the company from a bird's-eye view, you'll see that things are actually looking great. Record ticket sales with the spiderman NFT amidst a pandemic that was supposed to put them out of business is a testament to this, as well as them knocking their earnings out of the park.
At the end of the day, I've invested what I can afford to lose. I say this not to brag, but my 2k shares could drop to zero and it would have the emotional register of a stolen pair of shoes. I believe in the stock, and for that reason, I HODL
