A group of students at MIT achieved it a few years ago. They did some math which said if they bought $100,000 worth of tickets for their particular lotto, they had a guaranteed chance to win. So they pooled together 100k, bought all the tickets they could, and won 8 million dollars.

If you're talking about mega millions or win 5, let me know. Each ball weights a certain amount of gigatonne. It just so happens my uncle works in the back room and he controls which balls come up, based on the amount of gigatonne he wants to let loose.
