I use Atomic Email Studio. They have a standalone verifier but if you buy the package you get the verifier with it.

It's fairly cheap for what it does. It also removes spam traps.

If you're on a budget you can hit up Fiverr. I had a guy there verifiying my lists before I started doing it myself. Here's his link:

Just be warned that many website/fiverr gig offer highly cheap email verification. It can't be true. They just want to steal your email lists
 
Hi I developed a php script that does 2 step email verification 1st it checks locally without need for SMTP connection to detect bad synatx, typo, etc... 2nd step it connects to SMTP and only check the emails that passed the first check and finds out if the email exists or no. tested and working will all email providers even the difficult ones like yahoo, hotmail, mail.ru etc...

i can also customize up to your needs.

A relatively cheap option is MailboxValidator.com which has a free trial as well so you can try it out. Or if you just want to check a few emails, you can just use their demo page. It's free. You just need to tick the captcha. I would say that's a good option if you just need to check a few emails. No need to pay.

I don't think that is the sort of email verifier that the OP is asking about.

I would assume that this request was for a software to check if an email is valid before sending an email to it as opposed to clicking on confirmation links in emails. If zennoposter can do that as well then I would be interested in looking into it some more.

op asked either for email verificication or for checking if emails are alive.

both of these can be done with built in gsa feature as well as with zennoposter. basically logging to email through pop server means checking it i dont see whats the problem here
