it's worth it if you are selling something in huge quantity like a minimum of 2-3 full containers. If you are a manufacturer or you got direct connection with the manufacturer then this membership a worth a try.

Unfortunately that I have different experience and idea opposite with your mention above , alibaba secret is very easy as i know
