Never in my life would I raise children in Sweden or in Western Europe, it's too decadent and it's not safe. However, in Central Europe people are still a bit conservative and they are not looking to self-destruct like Swedes do.

If you are like me and don't like the modern state of Western Europe, then I would recommend Central Europe. It's a good place to be in. It's warm as hell now though, during the summer time I am half dead.

I totally feel you man and I think we are on the same level why not Sweden and west Europe ;)

Home is where the heart is and I am not planning to keep the Dutch identity because if I stay registered here I still have to pay the Dutch tax system which I really need to get rid off!

And more dangerous, depends where you go I guess, I've been in Mexico, Venezuela , Suriname and Peru, didn't feel any more unsafe to me as over here.

Actually, I'm sure I would be happy indeed as I would have money but yeah, currently the locals and situation not so great and can imagine it would not be all that safe for foreigners. I visited Caracas back in '99.
 
Whatever you do stay away from Balkans. It's all puppet countries adopting the same shitty politics from west and life is miserable. You know those hospitals from horror movies? Those are reality here, stinky dark and looking abandoned.

Hehe exactly, this thing is going nuts here, i am actually planning on emmigrating as well... If you want, we can switch lifes! hahaha
 
I already moved from Holland to Germany. All I want now is it go on lots of travels. First on the list would be Japan.:p
 
What do you guys think about London,UK, im moving there within 3 weeks, anybody from their who cna give some tips :D

I have the same view about England as Germany, a direct no for me, London for now is still fun to visit but living there, hell no!

Yeah, that's a good idea, if you have the possibility.

How do you like hot weather? Here we set multiple positive records this year with over 40 Celsius, the summer was a melting pot. Winters are also considerably colder than in the Netherlands. Usually there can be 50-60 Celsius difference between summer and winter temperatures, that's almost the double what you have in the Netherlands.

Actually I hate sitting in the sun too long when there is no cool breeze but it has some benefits but I must admit I also love the snow. I probably want to end in a country where it's nice in the summer, snow in the winter and has the demographic I like but then again I might end up in a country where it is summer all year around if I enjoy it there more :)
 
In all seriousness, beyond the anecdotes, has anyone ever seen a good/reputable list of expat destinations for Internet marketers with all the things we care about ranked (low taxes, strong internet, etc.)? I'd love to see a good list.

There are lots of options that allow you to stay nonstop. I personaly use tourist visas as I spend 3 month in Europe anyway and during the rest 9 months I just need leave a country 2 times but its not big deal as you just need to go to the border and come back or you can fly for a weekend to other countries. Flights are very cheap in asia and if you book before it will cost you like 50-100$ to fly to singapore, kuuala lumpur etc.
Other visa that you can use is educational visa and you can stay 1 year (no need to leave a country). If you want you can learn thai, if you dont want you can choose school that doesnt require it. This kind of visa will cost you like 1k€ per year.
There is also elite card but its quite expensive but its valid for 5 years.
You can also get business visa but you need to invest some money in thai bonds or buy some apartment or put money into some business.

K handy info but I also seem to remember you can't own house or land, that you have to team up with a Thai and you can only posses 49%

My first language is Cyrillic. To be honest, Cyrillic is much easier than Latin since one letter can be said only one way unlike Latin letters where one letter can be said 50 ways.
Speaking of languages :D, don't speak Dutch in Bulgaria, some folks might be scared and think that you are choking :D.

Veneers are facings, plates from porcelain that they place over your teeth so you got a nice white smile again.

Over here that costs frikkin 550 euro per tooth.

If you want very cheap and to be in Europe, then Albania is a great place. I don't think prices will change there in the next 30 years. Bulgaria was way more cheaper, but prices gone up after the EU. Other Balkan countries are also a good choice. Pretty women, good food etc. If i need to choice, Spain is my number one destination.
