Just out of curiosity.

I'm planning to go. I know many people all over the world think or find my country (NL) great but I find it a shit place to live and IMO it's getting worse every year.

Not sure yet where I will end but I am not staying in west EU that's for sure!

Hungary has peaked my interest ATM, houses are crazy cheap compared to my country and I love the nature, houses outside the big cities come with a lot of land and as I love animals this would be great for me.

Only thing I find negative for me is that it's a hard language to learn and I don't know how far English will take me but I have at least 2 more years to decide :)

You planning to emigrate from your country? Where and why?

Why? :D

And I think the US is an amazing country (not talking about the governments and BS) but it's kinda hard to get legal over there even though our ancestors build that country.

But I take it you have no plans C?

I like my country because of the cheap life we have over here (Romania). On the other side I can't wait to move to ANY western country and have good roads, good healthcare, caring and social people (not fucking each other over for 1$).

Wish me luck!

Agh, No no no don't come here. Shit is hitting the fan. I would let the US cool off. I hear Canada is nice, but a lot of people seem to like thailand for cheap property and nice internet.
But in Thailand you can't buy ground on your own plus you need to be 55+ to stay there permanent.

Good luck! The West is going to shit IMO but I can understand you want to go there for now.

How hard would it be to fake your credentials in thailand? Personally, I am thinking about moving my family up to Canada, but they require you live there for 4 years to nationalize. I personally have a degree that could get me in on a Visa, if you have the same it might be nice. They have a lot of rural areas that have way cheaper houses than the US.

I plan to go in New zealand someday in the future but its pretty exepensive.

Bulgaria. Girls, cheap stuff and awesome parties.

I am not from Bulgaria, I am from Macedonia it's mostly similar. When I visited W. Europe it's moslty boring. You will have a lot of fun in Bulgaria, you wont need any permits as BG is in EU. Have fun.

That might be but you only need 1 chief of police that's an asshole and you end up in thai prison. Now west Prisons I never had a problem with but thai prison, no thanks lol

Haven't researched that country, it depends on prices of houses and income tax which is insanely high over here.

I've stayed a couple months in Miami late 90's, it was pretty cool but expensive AF!

I'm from Hungary actually and it's an awesome country despite our goverment what is more and more authoritarian by every year. The rent increased a lot thanks to airbnb but its still laughable compared to the western countries. If you come here I definitely wouldn't move to the countryside, people don't really speak english there. If you want to buy a house with land, you should do it in the suburbs of Budapest (the capital). It's a beautiful city, with great nightlife and english speaking natives. If you have any specific question about hungary, you can pm me any time.

Have you looked into Serbia. Most of the propaganda shows it as a devestated country but even though we have low income it is a great place to live as everything is quite cheap and its pretty safe. Most yoUnger generations born 1995- to date speak decent english as its obligatory in schools since age 7. You can party or just enjoy in some rural area and both for quite cheap. Given that the average sallary is 350$.

Mede-nederlander ;)

I would like to live in Bali, in my 3rd year of my Tourism study I will live there for 8 months, but the rules suck, you can't own a property (there are some contracts that you hire it for 30 years, but that still sucks. ) If the rules don't change , I would like to move to the Dutch Carribean.

I'm actually planning to move to a big and important city, New York's seems like my personal favorite but I also like the suburb life. Perhaps somewhere in the east coast. I like humid and cold climates, the most beautiful deciduous and conifer trees grow Jn those conditions, and I love trees.

This is one of my main goals of my online business.

I wouldnt worry too much about the language, I moved to Quebec, Canada from England 1 and a half years ago and my French is very limited. I mean, it would help if you could learn to language.. as for me, i suck at learning a language :)
