any advice on crypto?

Hey, I’m a bit confused about where to start with crypto investments. Would you recommend going for short-term trading or is long-term holding better? And which cryptocurrencies should I focus on as a beginner? Also, any tips on how to minimize risks?
Focus on investing in good coins like BTC. There will be solid returns in this coin and risk is also very less.

Long term trading is the most profitable. I suggest bitcoin and dogecoin.

Making long-term investment on crypto is the best and try to watch the movement sometimes to know when you can stake has your stopper or selling price

Hey!

For beginners, long-term holding (HODLing) is often safer than short-term trading since it avoids the stress of daily price fluctuations. Focus on well-established cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) to start, as they are less volatile compared to smaller altcoins.

To minimize risks:

  1. Only invest what you can afford to lose.
  2. Use reputable exchanges and wallets.
  3. Diversify your investments to reduce dependency on a single asset.
  4. Educate yourself about the market and avoid emotional decisions.
Start small and grow as you learn more. Good luck!

If you plan to enter the cryptocurrency field, I think you first need to have a cryptocurrency exchange and a cryptocurrency cold wallet so that you can get more information about cryptocurrency.

However there are many many cryptocurrencies that are definitely not a gamble.

Eth , sol , link , btc , etc are investments.

Anyways, in your eyes anything is probably a gamble?

You don't understand markets

Traders don't trade "The Market"

Traders trade against OTHER TRADERS

Traders trade against robots that watch order flow (front running)

Traders trade against robots that analyze news and social media and decide trades based on "sentiment"

Eternal Truth - ALL short term movement is NOISE. It CANNOT be analyzed or anticipated

That is why trading companies cheat and front run. That is their edge.

Traders that can't afford that rely on their "rules", discipline and money management and sometimes news.

Amateur traders ALWAYS eventually blow out their accounts because they break their rules,
have no discipline and so they violate their money management trading plan

How many crypto traders have a "trading plan?

Bitcoin is NOT a market
Alt-coins are NOT a market

Bitcoin follows the stock market
Alt-coins follow Bitcoin

When the stock market crashes, which it is going to do soon, then
Bitcoin and all other crypto will crash

If you get out before the rush, ok

Most will not. They are toast.

Be out of this manipulated "market". Save your money and buy big cheap crypto after the crash.

Remember, crypto is backed by nothing so you CANNOT assume that you will always have a
counter party to allow you to cash out

Smart Money - Buy Low - Sell High
Stupid Money - Buy High (FOMO) - Sell Low and cry about it

In crypto, someone is ALWAYS left holding the bag

Long term holding is better. Your mind will also be very stable with this investing approach.

Both the approach have own benefits. But currently I am into long term investing.

For beginners, long-term holding in established cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum is safer; short-term trading can be riskier. Diversify investments, avoid all-in bets, and use dollar-cost averaging to minimize risks.

You need to monitor the market for a while and use the demo trading feature.

Oone advise I want to share is.
DCA is important.
Dollar cost averaging.
You can never time the market.
Soo keep buying the dips

The best long term (proven) method is investing in BTC through a steady DCA strategy and not paying attention to the price, technically anyone who’s bought BTC and held atleast 4 years has made a profit.

Unpopular opinion in crypto, but if you plan to invest less than $100,000, you should take the money and invest it in yourself and start a business.
