Hey, I’m a bit confused about where to start with crypto investments. Would you recommend going for short-term trading or is long-term holding better? And which cryptocurrencies should I focus on as a beginner? Also, any tips on how to minimize risks?

Its best if you get someone to teach more or watch a lot of info on youtube
 
Long term investments are good. With short term, you will be always occupied with seeing charts.

Long term holding is what I recommend. Also,it is important to choose a reliable exchange fot this. Otherwise, you can loose all your investments without any fault of yours.

What a nonsense haha, meme coins are indeed a gamble.

However there are many many cryptocurrencies that are definitely not a gamble.

Eth , sol , link , btc , etc are investments.

Anyways, in your eyes anything is probably a gamble?

How much do you have to invest? Since now, I don't recommend Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and other huge players, unless you are a millionaire player here...and of course, stay away from gambling memecoins since you don't have experience trading them

You can invest according to your risk ability.
 
I would look for coins with a limited supply. Since the dollar is inflationary, the limited supply coins tend to outperform in the long run

Long-term HODLing is the way to go, especially for Bitcoin. It's cyclical, so every few years you get a chance to buy the dip at massive discounts.

For altcoins, focus on utility. Look for coins that are actually being used for something. Check out payment processors like Cryptomus to see which coins they support. Those are the ones with real-world use cases.

Diversify, but don't go overboard. A few solid altcoins and some Bitcoin should do the trick.

Want to hedge your bets? Use options. Long-dated out-of-the-money puts can protect your portfolio and potentially make you some extra cash
 
It depends , you wants short term investment or long term inverstment?

Short-term Trading:
Involves buying and selling assets within a short time frame --> days, weeks, or even hour --> to capitalize on price fluctuations.
Pros: Potential for quick profits; can take advantage of market volatility.
Cons: Requires frequent monitoring, understanding of technical analysis, and can be stressful. higher transaction fees due to frequent buying and selling; risk of losses in a volatile market.

Long-term Holding (HODLing):
Involves buying cryptocurrencies and holding them for months or years, irrespective of short-term price fluctuations.
Pros: Less stressful and time-consuming than trading; takes advantage of long-term price appreciation. typically less affected by short-term market volatility.
Cons: Requires patience, and you might miss short-term trading opportunities.
 
You can see lots of tutorial on youtube but don't trust anyone in this crypto market.

Never invest more than you can afford to lose. And say goodbye to your investments right away, because it can be 50/50.

oh it is bitt risky. i know it but i am influenced by many people around me to invest on crypto..
 
If you can accurately predict price movements, you may be able to make a quick profit by buying low and selling high in the short term.
