and a monthly plan of $1500, $2000 or $2500 depending on the options (per location). I said we could figure out different pricing if they sign all 5 locations.

He said the price is fair and the service seems incredibly interesting... HOWEVER, he is not the one that sign the cheques...
The owner of the business shows up once a month for an internal meeting with managers and he will be the one making the decision.

He asked me to e-mail him a proposal, a "review card" and a few other things, he will present it to his boss and try to get another meeting with me...

So yep, it is not a sale but hopefully there will be another meeting with them.

Considering journeys like this can easily involve the Gathering aspect, but take time in the Selling portion doesn't make them a loss. Sometimes it takes weeks or months after starting the journey to REPORT the results, even if you sent out letters right away.
This is called being realistic, rarely do I get a call minutes after handing out the letter! Worthwhile business tends to take time.
