Another Amazon Journey - $100 per day

A has more potential on long term, B will rank faster.

Considering that it's becoming more and more important to have links from relevant sites, B doesn't have a relevant link profile.

There are exceptions however.

Update:

230 clicks, 15 ordered items (+1 on UK Amazon), $50 commission all together.

Need to ship 9.3 items per day to reach 7.5 commission level. There are still 20 not-yet-shipped items, so I believe I can get there.

As you all know, Amazon compensation plan is progressive.



More items you sell, more commission you get. If you sell products that are really worth something ($500+), stepping up in commission rate is crucial for getting the most out of it. But there's 1 problem: The more product costs, less conversions you will get, it's as simple as that.

People think twice before buying a $500 product because they want to choose the best product possible and there is a big chance they will check out several sites before buying something expensive. Even if they decide instantly, Amazon cookie only lasts 24 hours, so conversions on more expensive products are logically not as good.

Amazon doesn't care which products you are selling, for leveling up in commission rate, you need to sell more of them. Doesn't matter if it's a pencil or a $100k TV.

My Site B is doing just that. Products are cheap and niche is easy. Site didn't make much, but it sold 130 products. Selling 130 products gets you to 7% commission level.

Let's say you sold 5 products worth $1000 each in 1 month. That is $200 of commission in total. If you have a backup site which sells 130 products (even if products are really cheap and commissions are low), $200 rises to $350.

I took my time yesterday to find 3 more niches that are similar to my Site B - cheap products, easy to rank, very unknown, massive number of sales. I will buy appropriate domains very soon and I will repeat the whole process which takes no more than 4-5 hours for each site, including building links and writing content. Only problem is that it will take 3 months to rank them. 4 smaller sites like that should reach 8% commission level by themselves and that really is something to increase commission on other sites which sell products from $100 on.

I got shitloads of plans for the future, it will all start happening when I reach $3000 in 1 month through Amazon. It's my obsession right now.

I'd love to get an outline of how you have condensed the amazon niche review site method to 5 hours per site, including link building. That just seems insane..ly awesome.

Idea is simple, but finding appropriate niche with appropriate products and domain isn't. In my case it's 4y old domain without established link profile.

Finding appropriate niche is crucial. Find a product that is cheap and people usually look for more than this 1 product. If I simplify it: When valves in an old car engine break, owners need to buy more than just new valves to make the engine work again. If you promote valves, you can be sure they will buy other products that are essential. Amazon takes care for the rest and it knows what to offer to people to make them convert better. "People who bought this, also bought...".

I have 15 indexed pages on a site that follows this method, I have sold 110 products and earned almost $200 with it this month so far, only with a few blog comments and a Wikipedia link. Site is 3 months old, domain is 4 years old. I haven't made a single link in the past 2 months, but I publish a fresh article every now and then (once per 3 weeks). It grew by itself in the last 30 days (traffic increased by 8x) and it's getting steady clicks and visits.

I only promote 20% of products that I have actually sold on this site, but other 80% are closely related. I have invested 10 hours of my time into it and I'm sure I'll reduce it to 5 hours with my next similar site.

One more important thing about these very small MNS is to make people click on ads. I have 70-80% CTR every day with a customized theme.

Update:

Sold almost $2000 worth product through one of the sites that wasn't making money so far. FINALLY, I just hope it gets shipped soon. Sold 14 products again yesterday for total commission: $170 ($182 if I make it to 7.5%).

Site A and B are getting steady sales and traffic. 2 other sites are selling more expensive products and they have sold 2 decent products this month, worth $400 and $2000. They are getting 10-15 UV per day on average, need to get that to 100 UV per day on each (at least).

Motivation is at its highest level right now Sold everything that's possible this month, including dildos (no, I don't cover that niche) and similar crap. World is a mysterious place.

$2000 worth item has been shipped, I expect to reach this kind of stats every day before summer 2015. And from that level on, it's gonna be a real journey. If you get this kind of stats every day, that's $4500 per month. The worst decision you can make is cashing out everything for a flashy car, etc. If you get $4500 per month and you only keep $1000 for yourself and invest everything else into more projects, content, PBNs... You can win completely in 12 months and then you can start hanging out with real players and start balling like CEOSam. That's my philosophy and that's what I'm aiming for.



Need to ship about 100 products before December ends to reach 7.5%. I am giving it 50/50 chances for this.

Funny thing is that I sold this $2000 item with 1 UV on that site in a single day. Visitor took time to read 1 single page (1 single product review), clicked on a link and bought it. There are about 10 websites in the same niche ranked higher than me for that specific product and I believe this visitor has read all of them, but when he came to my site, he decided that his choice is good.

This proves the importance of quality content. I'm not saying that my review is the best, maybe it's the worst because visitor decided that it's enough of crap reading. But if your review is strong and detailed, visitor won't search for more reviews and your Amazon cookie won't be overridden by other affiliates. And this goes for every affiliate platform and it's more important with higher priced products.

I've been focusing too much on Site A and B, but now it's time to bring up C and D from the dead. I have about 20 articles on each, but I haven't published anything new for almost 2 months, so traffic started to drop. I won't buy PBN links just yet, I will connect to authority sites (mostly non-commercial and personal blogs) from the same niche and I will try to create a buzz. Google loves that because it's a whitehat link building in its purest form. It's also the hardest and the longest way, but these are niches I want to succeed in, I know a lot about them and it doesn't matter if it happens now or in 6 months.

I tried creating this kind of buzz on site A, but community and non-commercial bloggers in that niche are too specialized. If your niche is "pictures of space shuttles", you can be sure that no NASA scientist will link to you from his blog where he discusses black holes and rocket fuels. Site C and D have much more "ordinary" influential people, so it just might succeed as I hope it will. First I'm going to analyze whole competition again, run their sites through Moz, check out where links are coming from and connect to all the blogs that are linking to them. Once this is done, I'll implement my tactics which are even better and they give something valuable to the community. Time will tell.

There are many sites dominating front pages, but when Google decides to devalue non-niche related PBNs even more, it's gonna be a perfect opportunity for me to reach the top.

Update:

9 sold products on Sunday ($30 commission), 32 sold products yesterday ($60 commission). Things are going like they should, 2 sites with 0 traffic started getting up to 20 UV per day. I just received Tier 1 articles for each one and I'll build some decent backlinks with them these days.

Youtube ranking:

I created a couple of videos a few months ago for Site A. 1 of them is ranked on #6 right now for 1300 s/m KW on Google with nothing but a few Addmefast likes, views and social signals.

Future plans:

Plan for December was to get $1000 commission and I already got it 8 days before the deadline (once ordered products get shipped). Both my top sites (A and B) are the top in their niche by all metrics I can possible imagine and traffic is there as well. But there's a lot more potential in them, but I don't want to rush anything because it's better to be safe, than sorry.

I have never been so motivated in my life, I got complete 2015 plan right here on a paper. I'd probably tattoo my 2015 plan right now on my forehead if I wasn't scared of needles. I usually go to brain-damaging journey every New year's evening for a few days, but not this time. I just want to work and reach the goal as soon as possible. I'm not that young any more, but time for fun will be later, had too much fun in my life already.

It's too bad that I can't invest this Amazon money right away, thank you my government. They would take most of it away because I can't compensate with expenses, I need a company for that and I'll open it as soon as I reach $3000 in a single month. Then I'll cash out everything. I should have a decent amount of money saved on Amazon before I reach my goal.

Update:

2 items sold on UK Amazon = $12 commission.

20 items sold on US Amazon = $20 commission. Bunch of pencils, books, natural viagra and low budget stuff like that. But that doesn't matter, it's the quantity that matters right now and I need to ship 40 more products to get to 7.5% commission. 18 products haven't been shipped yet, there are 80%+ chances that I make it.
