Yes, you have to sign up for each one. I haven't withdrawn the money yet, I'm saving it. I have other sources of income (promoted few things about 2 years ago, I'm still making auto-pilot money completely hands free) that pay for my rent and bills. I'll withdraw everything from Amazon together once I reach $3000 in 1 month. Should save some decent amount of money until then.

I don't have my own PBN. I only build "base" links. I analyze competition through Moz and Majestic and replicate the best possible links I can. I only bought PBN links for site A and it's been a success. I'll create my own PBN in 2015 for sure.

6, but only 4 made money this month. 2 are very consistent, 2 bring some money every now and then (products are worth from $400 to $10000 there).

that is the fascinating thing with Amazon - Sites targeting different products at different price points perform differently - and it can be as simple as seasonal products

also if you include accessories for well known products and rank for those as well - that can bring in a whole new set of customers to your Sites... for additional Sales

once you get a click - then your well on your way to selling something - whether it was what you were targeting or they buy something else.

Heck some people buy 200 things at a time ...... anyway you got to be in it to win it as they say.

may i know how many results google return for sites A and B when using your keyword? And also, is it a micro niche site such that only one page of your site is optimized while other pages are for "fillers" or product review?

I have a really tiny blog that gets me $60 a month and it just sits there, so I'll follow this thread with interest.

There was that guy Tim Ferriss helped (or whoever it was) that created the Amazon affiliate site based around camping knives and he was doing really good at it. I couldn't believe it at the time...

A: 2 million results for top KW
B: 1,5 million results for top KW

I never check this out though, it's irrelevant, only the power of sites on 1st page matters.

I don't have an exact number, but I fill them up with everything that's available. The more = the better.

Yes, 40 products = 40 articles usually. Depends on how big is your niche, but I also have some articles that cover more than 1 product. "best" + "brand" + "product" + "reviews".

It's ranked for 5 products and it has 2000+ words in it.

I update my "template" every now and then because I learn a lot of things in the process. I try to cover everything people need to know about a certain product - how it compares to others, pros and cons, customer reviews (from other sites)...

Update:

I haven't made much these days, traffic dropped (must be due to holidays). I got about $25 and $12 in the last 2 days. I broke a record today on Site A with 300+ UV. This means this site should get at least $600 with lowest conversions each and every month with this kind of traffic.

I need to ship 40 more products to reach 7.5% commission. 24 ordered items haven't been shipped yet, must be because of holidays. They better start shipping so I get to 7,5% level.

Plans right now:

I am focusing on 2 sites that aren't selling much these days, they still have 10 UV per day. Site G (social experiment) is on pause because of poor reach on FB.

As said before, I ranked 1 YT video on #5 on Google for a KW with 1300 monthly searches. I will create, upload and optimize another 5 videos for site A these days and try to rank them. Even if they don't get ranked, my logic tells me links from Youtube videos are giving some relevancy to my site. After all, it's Google's property, even if links are nofollow.

I will start selling my service right after NY because my Paypal account is empty and I would have to invest about $500 for new domains, backlinks and articles to bring another 5 sites to level of Site A and B. It's going to be a distraction from affiliate marketing, but it's a necessary evil right now to get the $ on Paypal for investments. Money on Amazon would be enough right now, but as I said, I won't withdraw anything until I reach $3000 in 1 month.

Alternative would be to sell one of my sites to get the money needed for investments, but this won't happen for sure.

Update:

$80 yesterday, need to ship 20 more items to move up to 7.5% commission level. I sold over 30 items that haven't been shipped yet. I hope they work during the holidays, or I'm screwed.

I'm looking for new niches for the past few days and I'll look for more of them until the end of this month. January will be all about building new sites.

I am basically searching for niches with similarly priced products as Site A and Site B and with same level of competition. It's something I know it works and I don't want to experiment too much on new approaches until I reach my goal. I have a list of about 500 great niches right now, but I want to extract the best of them and so far I got 5.

1 of the niches I have analyzed yesterday is a pure winner, better than any of the niches I'm working on right now. It's similar to my Site A, but it has much lower competition (my Site A is 3x better optimized than top site in this niche and probably gets 5x less traffic at least), and this competitor's site is making probably around $3000 per month (I'm pretty good with guessing the organic traffic, so I'm sure of it). It's not heavily optimized, it has couple of guest posts and some blog comments, about 50 indexed pages, but mostly 400 word articles, so it shouldn't be a problem to make my site better.

KWs in this niche aren't seasonal and there are many of them with 200+ monthly searches. I'm busy searching for more niches, but I will start creating a draft (homepage + important articles) tomorrow, so once I buy a new domain and move it to a new server, I'll be ready for launching it. I'm still looking for a WP theme with fast loading time and appropriate design, should find it before 2015.

My plan is to write 10 important articles for this new site, launch it in January, writing 1 post per day and schedule publishing, so I will finish it completely in January and I won't have to write any new content for at least 6 month. I expect this site to succeed completely after 4-6 months.

I'll launch 5 new sites in January, they should get some money in March / April. If it goes like it should, I'll reach the desired $3000 before summer. If things go on smoothly, I should have about $10.000 to cash out with my first Amazon check. $3000 for a new laptop and PC, $5000 for investments (my own PBN, premium tools, etc), $2000 for savings (covers taxes for 6 months if something goes to hell).

Goals for 2015:

Pretty simple, I got couple of goals for my IM journey. 2015 should be the best year so far, I have never earned more than $5000 in a single month, but I expect to go above that in 2015.

- $3000+ per month before summer
- Launching my own company
- $10000+ per month before 2016

I thought about having Adsense in some articles that cover secondary keywords, but whole design of a site would look bad then.

so both ur 2 sites that are making money, u only started them 3-4 months ago ?

That's right, after 3-4 months, every site should make couple of hundred $, unless you are doing something unusual or wrong.

Depends on how big a niche is, but I write 5-10 articles before I index any of my sites. It's important to know the niche and have a good plan for your website (structure) before you launch it, or you will most likely have to edit much of the content in the future. When a site gets indexed, you can add as many articles as you want. The more = The better, but stay consistent, you Google's crawler is entertained. Make sure you link most of your secondary articles to your important articles, so Google won't rank bad articles higher than moneymaking ones.

wow that's amazing... I know one of them is a old domain, what about the other one ? is it new ? and how many articles do you have on the site ?

I have sites with 10-20 articles which are more than 5 months old.. but not making any money any tips ?
