Another Amazon Journey - $100 per day

What you think about EasyAzon? Is it necessary?

Someone recommended to me but I never tried it

It's necessary if you want to earn commissions from all Amazons (.com, co.uk, .de, .ca...). Of course I target USA market, but on every 50 US visitors, there are 10 visitors from UK and Canada and 1-3 from Spain, Germany, Italy...

Amazon.com makes 90% of my earnings, 10% is added thanks to EasyAzon. This plugin only costs about $50 if I'm not mistaking, so you can get that investment back in no time.

There's another plugin that makes about 10% of all my clicks. My Site A had 65-70% bounce rate previously, mostly because I target many secondary keywords with low conversion rates. I use Zero Bounce plugin (I'm a beta tester, but it will be launched for public soon). When visitor lands on my site and clicks on "back" button in his browser, that's a bounce. But this plugin redirects visitors to a special page which is crowded with special offers, promises and affiliate links, so they kind of must click on them.

Update:

Last 3 days were like: $30, $35 and $65. I sold 26 products yesterday and they finally shipped enough of them so I can move to 7% commission level. If all items get shipped and I continue at average December rate, I could get close to 7.5% by the end of this month, but I doubt it.

Traffic on site A is on the same level it was before, main KW with 20k monthly searches is standing on #17th spot. I should make somewhere around $1000 this month from my 2 best sites alone and that's 33% of my goal. I will continue with building links on Site A and start building links on Site B, they both have 3x more potential and I aim to get them to that level in 3 months.

I almost finished with implementation of EasyAzon on site G (social experiment), I just need to make it work on all products listed on 1 single page (right now it just localizes links of about 5 products.

I found an alternative WP plugin for localizing Amazon links - Amazon Link Engine. It probably works as it should, but just before I completed the installation, I took my time to read the TOS and user agreement, probably the first time in my life. And I'm happy that I took my time on this one.

Amazon Link Engine isn't completely free, they have their own affiliate accounts and they would take 20% of my referrals and earn commission by themselves. Considering I aim to get only about 10% of my earnings on non-US Amazons, it's definitely not worth it. And I don't think there are many affiliate marketers who could benefit from this compensation. So... EasyAzon is the way to go.

What I will do these days:

I'll focus on Site G completely. I have added 20 products so far, I have ordered 200 FB fans through AddMeFast (so I don't start with an empty FB page), I'll order social shares on top products (just for the looks of it) and I'll fix EasyAzon implementation.

The site is as good as it gets and it's a completely modified original theme. My guess is that CTR is going to be high (more than 80%), but average price of a product is about $25. I can live with that because if it works like it should, it will be the easiest site to maintain. I can add 20 products in 1 hour of work without any problem and I need 2 hours to write just 1 quality article (1000+ words) for my niche sites.

I won't update this thread for the next couple of days, but I'll try to answer all of your questions.

Totally appreciate you clearing up some clouds for me

Basically, I'm in the same path as you so lets make this happen.

Never quit, Never Stop, Never will!!

Good luck with your journey OP , subbed

$40 yesterday. $20 on Amazon.com, $20 on .ca and .co.uk. Thank you EasyAzon.

Stats on .com so far after half of a month (About $100 on other local Amazons)

Total items shipped: 154
Referral Rate 7.00%
Total Earnings: $503.76
Ordered Items: 177
Clicks: 2727
Conversion: 6.49%

25 items haven't been shipped so far (2 were shipped from November's orders, I can do math).

I'm afraid that December has a lot to do with these earnings, because my average conversion rate in previous months was 4.5%. Last month I got 60 clicks per day on average, this month I broke a record with 320 clicks in 1 day just 2 days ago. That's a number that would get me $1000 per month in the worst case with the worst conversions.

By all metrics, my 2 sites together are climbing for 500% every month since October. I just need 1 more boost like that and I can close this thread, but I believe it will stop at some point. Hopefully not yet.

Many people have asked me this, so I'll write it down here:

How to develop content and search for KWs:

I write 700+ words of content on each page. More = better. If I am reviewing a product, I don't stop with targeting product + review keyword, but I aim to target as many secondary KWs as possible with the same article.

Example: If you are making a review of Ferrari F40, write at least 500 words about it. Include everything that people want to know about it, from engine specs to history of it.

Google is your friend. "Versus" keyword is strong and it gives shitload of recommendations because many people are looking for comparisons. Also, you can play with other words with your targeted KW, you'll get shitload of suggestions you couldn't find with Google's Keyword Tool so fast.

I have found 50% of my targeted keywords through Google suggestions. It's a completely free tool and it's overlooked too often. I actually found niches for my top 2 sites that generate 95% of my Amazon earnings through this tool. I have Market Samurai and shitload of other tools, but this one is so simple and if you know what to look for, you can get 100 solid niches in 1 afternoon.

You can call me a noob, but this is the most overlooked useful and easy-to-use tool on the planet. Many people don't get anywhere because they think Market Samurai or Longtail Pro are essential tools for their success, but that is not the case. Everything you need for KW research is right here and it's all for free.

I'll take a day off today, don't really feel that well. I'll try to spend this free time on motivational purposes with Brian Tracy. :D

Good luck with journey OP! You sound like you know what you are doing

thank you for sharing your experiences here..
Just a few questions (i hope you won't mind). About site A, is your main keyword a best product article? if yes, you mentioned that it places #17 in google, just wondering if the #1 - 16 sites from search results have also best product articles in it?

And also, from sites A and B, around how much is your monthly income?

Main KW for Site A is the niche itself + prefix. #1-16 are authority sites which cover plenty of niches with KW + prefix - usually 1 big article for every niche.

A and B are the only sites that are making money on Amazon right now, (rest of them are making about $50 pm).

Thanks for your response. With regards to niche + prefix, is your keyword like this: "Best Shaver" then sites 1-16 also have "Best Shaver" articles?

May I know what around how much is the cost of the product you're promoting in site B? Can you please give me idea what is your keyword look like for site B? Is it Best article? And also, how many people visit in site B each month?

Something like that, correct.

Products are cheap, I made Site B only because cheaper products get better conversions and when you want to increase commission %, you want to sell as many products as you can. So far I have sold about 100 products from this site alone this month despite the fact that it only has 100 UV per day.

Can't reveal anything about any keyword I'm targeting, but site B isn't about "best article". It's a specific type of product and most people would stay away from it because it has low number of monthly searches, but that's not the truth. KW with highest search volume is just about 1000, but there are words in this keyphrase that have other synonyms and words just twisted around, so I am covering about 5 keywords like that and that's 5k monthly searches all together, which isn't so bad. But most people wouldn't notice it.

My guess is that a complete noob with 10$ of investment needs 10 working hours to make the same "Site B" (same KWs) and rank it just as high, so telling you more about it would be foolish.

Hey Good luck with your journey. I wish if I could develop some work ethics myself

I have a question about the plugin you use. Why EasyAzon and not WooZone? I mean what are the real differences between the two of them from the same developer?

Thanks. To be honest, I have never heard about WooZone before. I went for EasyAzon and I don't regret it. :)

Do you use review websites or eCommerce type of websites?
And goodluck :)

Good luck OP. i am working on a similar project.
BTW your conversion ratio is good :)

Reviews because niches are too specific and there aren't shitloads of products available for any of them. Site G is an eCommerce type with little to no content, because I won't care for search engines on this one.

UPDATE:

18 ordered items, $55 commission yesterday. If everything gets shipped, I'm on a path to reach 7.5% commission level this month and I couldn't be happier about it. I could reach 50% of my goal this month, so I'm all motivated and ready to work like a machine today.

Hi there!

Great Thread here!

Please let me know what option to choose to buid a new amazon site:

A/- Register a new domain with a partial EMD?
OR
B/- Buy an aged domain not having any keyword in it related to the niche with a PR of at least 1?

Thanks for your advice.
