Anonymous website

Hi folks,
I am thinking of creating a new site. But I have one imperative: to remain totally anonymous.
Initially, I was thinking of using Substack or any other online publishing tool with a built-in paywall.
Except that: when you say subscription, you say invoice, and when you say invoice, you say mandatory information about your identity. So, it's a problem.
The only way to make money? The website with ads, since I already have a validated AdSense account.
I don't want to evade taxes or do anything illegal: I just don't want anyone to know it's me.
What are your tips?
Can I use a free hosting service like Blogspot and still monetize the site? Thank you for your ideas.

there's no such thing as totally anonymous in this time and age. Someone, somewhere will know who you are and what you do, so I don't understand your question.

Yes, you can monetize blogspot, but it's always better to have control over your business as blogspot (and other similar web 2.0s) can vanish overnight and take your entire income along with it. Just get shared hosting and a normal domain name and do things properly from the get-go before your blogspot site grows big and you have to mess with redirects and whatnot

There is no such thing as total anonymity, I agree. But you can blur the lines. There will always be people who have doubts about my identity. But a doubt, a suspicion, is not a formal proof. Whereas with the information that must be included on the invoices of a paid newsletter, there is indisputable proof.

If I asked about a blogspot or a Substack, it's precisely because I don't want to manage the tech part anymore: domain name, code, etc. I just want to produce copy by the mile, without anyone knowing who is behind it.

So you confirm that a simple Blogspot can be monetized with AdSense?

you can monetize any written content while remaining anonymous to your users but the ad networks would need to confirm your id though. I believe Adsense did the same otherwise they can't send you payments.

You are right, I did not put my question in the right terms. It is with readers or internet users that I wish to remain anonymous. Google already has my identity and that's not a problem.
My concern is that Adsense wants a contact page with an identity displayed to validate websites. Or am I doing it wrong?

The contact page on the site does not matter. Lots of people use personas when building sites or writing books, etc.... Never been an issue.
What matters is confirming your real id when applying to an ad network.

If you want to hide that the website is yours, do not buy the domain in your name and do not add any information on the website itself, do the same with the hosting. If you want to maintain anonymity in the payment method you will have to use cryptos.

If what you really want is to monetize with adsense, in adsense at least you have to give your information, unless you have bought the account etc etc. If the account and domain are approved in adsense, you can add them to your website, as I have read in this post is really complicated to maintain 100% anonymity, they can get your adsense code and with certain tools look for more domains etc ...

But for most users who do a simple search, you can keep your anonymity.

Any domain like this can be taken by the registrar when they ask for ID verification.

As far as I know, there are certain countries like Spain that require more precise documentation to register a .ES domain, but usually .com domains can be registered without giving much information. I got many of them with fictitious names

No. Anything ICANN has control over e.g. .com, .org, .net etc is subject to identify verification. If you buy with crypto (or any other red flag) you might be asked for ID.

I’ve been asked for ID randomly several times. And I used a credit card!

mate, I am telling you I have many .com registered to fake names, there are WAY many portals you can fake that information and pay w paypal, stripe etc etc... You can use a virtual card with a fake name, it works too lol

This is already the case on the AdSense side as I have a monetized site with them, which brings me some money. I thank you for this feedback.

I do quite a bit of OSINT in my spare time, and the few tools that used to trace a person's identity back to an AdSense number no longer work.
For domain identity, I have a trump card up my sleeve: GRPD. Now, for WHOIS are anonymized. This complicates legitimate investigative work, but in some cases it can help.
But, you put the point on a detail I had forgotten: AdSense does not allow monetization of mydomain.blogspot.com sites

Where I live, in theory, providers ask you for proof of identity when you want a regional extension. In reality, in 10 years, I can't remember if I've ever been asked for it.

At worst … “Hello Delaware”!

So, to sum up: a BlogSpot, a domain name purchase, and we're good?
