Android or iOS for managing 5–10 Instagram accounts?

Hey, I recently bought an iPhone 11, but I realized that I can only have one Instagram app on it—unlike on Android, where I can create a second space or download apps like Dual Space.

If I’ve never jailbrake my phone and don’t know much about this stuff, should I do it, or is it better to just give up and stick to Android? Sometimes I have to set up 5 accounts, 2 of which get banned, 2 have poor reach, and only 1 turns out to be the one that quickly gains a large following on Instagram and looks promising. So ultimately, I want to manage 5–10 accounts on, say, 2–3 phones, but I need to create, say, 30 of them over the course of six months to identify the 5 good ones and the ones that will have good reach.

For managing multiple accounts on Instagram, many people prefer Android because it supports app cloning.

Depends on your strategy, if you want to build hq organic content - going non-jb is the way. If you want to run mobile proxies and have like 50 accounts with several IG apps with Crane - jb is absolutely necessary. From my experience, IG doesn't detect whether a phone was jb'd or not. The views are still there regardless.

they do check if u have jb or no maybe they don't fuck with views but they do the check

All I can tell you is that Instagram stories on any Android device are disgusting.

not true, i'm running through android mobile api and before was using normal ui automations and worked well either u have poor content or you doing something wrong tho

jailbreaking your iPhone 11 to run multiple Instagram accounts is extremely risky and will almost certainly get all your accounts shadowbanned or permanently banned much faster. Instagram detects jailbroken devices very strongly in 2026. The safest and best option is to switch to Android — you can easily use the built-in Dual Apps or Parallel Space feature to manage 5–10 accounts on 2–3 phones without any jailbreak or third-party tools. Trying to force 30 accounts on iPhone will just increase your ban rate for no good reason.

Both are fine; however for IOS, you would need to jailbreak the device so that you can clone the Instagram apps

bro dual space doesnt even spoof ur device id on android, the traditional app cloner is shit tho imo

Android is just more flexible for this use case.
iOS is cleaner, but way more limited without extra setup.

I wouldn’t jailbreak tbh, it’s messy and not very stable. iOS just isn’t built for running lots of accounts. Switching works for a few, but not at scale.

That’s why people usually go with Android, or use separate browser profiles or cloud phones to keep accounts isolated. For your use case, those options are just way easier.
