Anchor Text Diversity Ideas

Sorry, but I call these ideas bullshit
there are three types of backlinks if we categorize them by intention

1. natural - with url anchor (<a href="http://foo-baz.com/bar/">http://foo-baz.com/bar/</a>)
2. brandable/ad - site name or domain name in anchor (<a href="http://foo-baz.com/bar/">foo-baz.com</a>, <a href="http://foo-baz.com/bar/">foo-baz</a>, and maybe <a href="http://foo-baz.com/bar/">Foo-Baz Company Inc.</a>)
3. aimed at deliberate ranking promotion, no matter white or black, backlink for sake of backlink - everything other, including "foo baz", "read more", "click here", "buy foo baz cheap"

ATM after Penguin I think you need more than 50% of backlinks to be of type 1 and 2, rest could be your key with very slight variation. At least this is what I see in my niche SERP atm.

I think there are more generic anchor texts here. I'm using a lot from this;

These ideas are not bullshit, especially after the penguin.

To the OP - thanks for the list, rep added :)

I think you are right... This was why I suggest to build some inner pages with secondary long tail secondary keyword in them and post them with the secondary keyword as anchor.

Those backlinks will send the link juice to your domain. As I said will be better that the secondary keyword will have your main keyword in it.

EX:
primary kw: games

secondary kw: electronic games in city

URL: www[dot]games[dot]com/electronic_games_in_city.html

Are you also using this keywords in your HQ links, like custom made web 2.0s? Or just in wikis or something?

Are you serious with that?

This is something that you must share? Really what is the catch here... the fact that you typed and now we only have to copy/paste?

P.S. In my opinion this days anchor diversity must be taken more seriously.

I've always been using just these anchors with my backlinks because I knew at one point or another Google was going to de-value anchor text backlinks because they were being used far too much by spammers. When I make contextual backlinks, I usually have something like "if you want to learn more about [keyword], click here" but that varies from article to article.

Add to these variations of your site's name, some way, and you're good to go. Nice share! :-)

I should be more constructive like you and just tear random people apart for no reason at all.

I sorry man but I think you didn't read all the thread... each time I post my opinion I also post an alternative or share my experience. So I do not just tear people apart I really try to be constructive and share my experience.

I have this attitude because now's days I see more and more people come here and post something that they read some were, use that strategy and they thing this is useful. But they did not test.

What I thing is wrong with your post is that your information is nothing special and second I do not thing it can help you very much.

Please explain me why this anchor text can help you more than, let's say, mom, dad, child... etc.

How google will interpret that link?

I get that English isn't your native language but I really have no idea what you're even trying to say. Are you doubting that anchor text diversity is a big deal? Do you not understand what spintax format is or how it can be used?

Either way, I don't care. In the future if you don't like someones contribution either don't use it or press the 'Report' button and let the administrators decide.

This is not something that should reported, there is no infraction so there is no reason to report.

I do not say that is wrong to use link diversity, what I'm saying is that using the anchor text that you share it will not help. I do not thing that using generic anchor text can help you, I can not find the logical explanation of using it (of using generic anchor text)

also use more keyword targeted aticles around 500-750 words. It will give you some good results. :)

That's a real nice share, very useful to beat the penguin. Thanks

These generic type anchors have to be contextual and surrounded by keywprds and longtails. If you use scrapebox only the anchor will show and it will probably dilute your solid anchors.
It has to been properly.Oh and don't be suprised if matt cutts devalues these next....
