Analytic Software Options?

Hi, im looking for some analytic software options that would specifically monitor events. I need something that isnt going to have require a bunch of coding for every event i want to monitor. I run a site that creates custom plans and would like to monitor how many people are creating their own plan vs altering one of ours and if they are altering what are they adding like videos, images ( all of that is a choice through a drop down menu) and also what plans they are working with as we have several. Ive tried analytics but its such a pain it didn't even want to monitor past the login page. Any suggestions would be very welcome

Have you tried using GTM instead of hard-coding GA events? It gives you a nice GUI for a lot of what it sounds like you're trying to do, and obviously it integrates seamlessly with GA.

No problem, check out the help docs here. There's even a thing called "auto event tagging" in GTM that may help.
