AMR Results - Updated Stats & Indexing...

I love the software - what tools and methods though are you using to check those indexed links?

AMR is a pain!! I just bought it and most directories fail. I have 1.1.0.6 :confused:
 
bookmarking still works, of course not as it did, but what is working as iti did.
from my experience the most powerfull link I could create are dofillow web 2.0s with 3 articles that have video and pictures with 100% unique content. Of course they are expensive but are cheaper overall them PR 4-6 home page backlinks that are paid monthly. These are the only types of links that count in small numbers
 
hi jascoken,

i wanted to ask you a question and anyone else who is an experienced user of amr.

basically how many variations do you use of a keyword when blasting an article?
do youuse only one keyword to the main url of your site when running full blasts?


at present if i was targetting lets say "black hat" as my keyword i will use 2 links in my resource box.

the first will go to the homepage of the domain, and the second will be a list of all the urls of the site i am ranking.

so my first url i would use several variations of "black hat" usually 4-6, my example:
black hat
black hatters
black hat seo
seo black hat
click here

the second url i would make 15-20 longtail variations and even some totally unrealated keywords and longtails.

i just wonder if i am doing myself out of link juice by not blasting just one or two keywords per blast to the main url???
i hope i am clear about how i currently run blast in amr.
 
I use massive variation in both links; variation in domain/page and also anchor.

'Submissions footprint' is a big issue these days with mass submissions. You want each mass submission to look as much like individual submissions as possible, which means using spun titles/content/bio and as many keywords, pages and domains as possible.

If you have multiple domains then use several to mix up the submission. It's better to do 5 submissions using 5 domains over 5 days than do 1 submission per domain per day over 5 days, as then there is a more mixed footprint and the links are built with a gradual link velocity. Hope that makes sense!

Yes: Use lots of phrase-matched mixed anchors (i.e. suffix/postfixed words.)

I use rewritten sentence level articles that pass copyscape and have 85% readable spin. I am only submitting 20 articles a day. I use over 30 anchors including keywords, phrase, stop words etc to all inner pages too...

I also use 30 spun titles.

Is this method safe to use towards my money site?
What amount per day would anyone consider safe?
What do you think the burnout rate is for the 85% spin?

It should be safe if you're only dripping 20 per day; just watch the SERP movement. Steady and slow is better while you get the hang of it...

If you have multiple domains you can build up the daily submission numbers by spreading the submission over these different domains.

Imposible to say about the burnout rate; it's a math question and the 85% unique number is useless to calculate this.

The problem with using a unique% is that it tells you NOTHING about the number of permutations; which is why it's a practically useless number for mass submission. (The unique% drops with each submission, as another permutation is used up.)

You can have an article that's 100% unique between 2 versions, but only has those 2 permutations. So you can see how it means nothing on mass submission. You have to do a rough calc on the number of permutations available; and I always do this at paragraph level, not article level for a sensible result.
 
Is AMR even currently viable now? I own the tool but saw loads of unattended bug reports\problems on their forums. Sniper is probably on an island somewhere sippin magaritas', too busy to be bothered with bug reports or updates.
What are your success rates with it now? If it's good, I might dust it off and start using it again.

Nope... He's still hacking away; I chatted to him just a couple of days ago. He's recently released V 1.1.0.6. and is working on other stuff for the next release.

AMR itself is completely viable. The DB that comes with it will only go so far though. I've been building my DB constantly, and I normally get around 1500-2000 submits and 600-700 AA's - but I admit this is unusual. Most people on here with a bit of effort can get 1,000 submits and 300+ AA's.

And before anyone else asks; No, my DB is not for sale or swap etc. It took too much work.

So... Yes... It is working well; IF you;re prepared to scrape/swap dir's etc.

You could start by quickly jumping on Sameers thread; unless he's stopped giving it out.

As a recent AMR user this thread has been EXTREMELY helpful to me. Do you find ver 1.1.0.6 to be just as effective as say version 1.1.0.4? I was considering downgrading but I've only ever used the newest version as I just started with this tool this week. Anyway, thanks for the really useful advice. Cheers!

It's hard to say; different machines seem to react differently. Try moving down to .5 and see if that helps? I know he's done a bunch of fixes, which should see the light of day as .7 soon!

I'm using .6 OK.

I mean watch for increasing 'bounce'. Back-off if the results start to bounce all-over. Then gradually build up again. You can just push through bounce if you want, but that makes a lot of people nervous!

I use a new email for each author, and use an author for 15-20 submissions top. I would certainly use a different email address on the domain, but I don't think you need to throw the domain away. Just create additional email accounts in your cPanel. I would rotate several domains over time though. I have about 200 that I use, but you can use emails from any cpanel account you have. I also presume you're not doing more than 1 per day.
 
So let's say I have a pool of 12 domains I can create email accounts with. I'd like to create about 50 authors (I have a lot of links to make). I should be okay with 4 or so from each domain, right? Do you ever retire an author account after so many posts or just let it keep going as long as possible?

I only use an author for around 15-20 posts max, then it get's retired, and the email account deleted about a month later.
 
Hey Jascoken, thanks for this great thread.

Some questions for you, hope you dont mind.

1. When checking for live links, do you use "Logn and get live and potential pending (Slow)" or "Author Home Page (Fast)".

2. When I review my "live links report" I see a bunch that says "pending". What does that mean? Is it already approved and 'pending' etc.?

3. Some even shows "approved" but with no URL, what does that mean?


Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

2. Pending means pending approval by manual review at the directory
3. AMR couldn't retriece the URL, because the site wasn't providing it.

So is that article LIVE or not in that case?
I am assuming 'no' since it doesnt even have a URL - how can Google index/crawl my links then?

No way of knowing! It could just be that AMR couldn't access it. the only way you'll ever know is by logging in by hand... Yeah right!
