Amazon PPC

Hello guys.

I’m running PPC campaigns for my amazon listings and I run out of money in 2 hours. Don’t get me wrong, I setup the campaign for 500$ daily. And they spend in 2 hours? With no sales? When one click cost arrond2,7$?

It exist some kind of software for this? The competition send somehow traffic to my sponsored listing?Or from your experience,it’s possible if my competitor hit the click on sponsored ad and come back, and click again, and come back?

Any advice will be welcome.

You have done something wrong with your campaign and $500 daily is not a good idea if you don't sure the keyword CPC and CTR ratio. Also in amazon PPC they have indexing issue take care of this next time.

Your statement contradict the others. You say you run out of money in 2 hours, but you also say that you setup the campaign for 500$ daily?
That is not possible.


Google system wouldnt allow your entire budget for 1 day runs out in 2 hour.
Also your question if your competitor clicking the ads also not possible, the system wouldnt show the same ads all the time, you can check by constantly looking for your own ads.
Even if its possible, it needs thousand click to really spend your $500 budget per day.

First, you seem to be thinking there's a corrallation between spend and or CPC and sales. There is not.

Your landing page will be by far the main determining factor of what your conversion rate will be and hence what your cost per sale will be. This is regardless of how much you spend. It's your sales page so if it's not doing a good job, even if your campaign gets targeted traffic at any price, you are not going to make a decent profit, simple as that. Think if your page is blank. I could send you good traffic but it won't convert because no sale is made from a blank page.

Targeted keywords are important too. My guess is - and this is based on experience as well as you spending $500 in a couple hours (potentially $6,000 in a day) - you are using keywords that are too broad and generic for your product(s).

The software you are looking for is between your ears. You are not understanding what PPC is all about. Extremely likely from what I see is you are not using right keywords so you need to rethink that part. Look at your page objectively and put yourself in someone else's shoes: would this compel me to buy this product?

As for competitors clicking your ads, this notion is overrated, it doesn't happen as often as most think. It is unlikely that is what is happening.

I think your keywords are to generic. You can PM your keywords and maybe I can think of more relevant longtail ones. Competitors can click your ad but cant do it over and over.

I was misunderstood. I’m not talkin about any landing pages. I am talkin JUST about PPC on AMAZON. That’s it. Only on Amazon... how my competition spend all my Money for the main keywords? Is that hard to understand? So, you type in shampoo for dry hair. I have a bid on that KW of 2$. If you click on sponsored product Amazon will take 2$ from my daily budget which is 500$. Somehow my competition manage that somebody click on that sponsored ads 250times and spend all my money in a few hours!!! Can anyone understand what I am asking?? Please stop talking about landing pages, affiliate links, CPA and all that crap...

You can open a case about it if you feel that is being abused, but it depends on the keyword itself. Maybe is a highly popular keyword but is not converting to sales. Is hard to say without knowing the keywords. I can try to do some research but as for the question of being abused not really common. If you feel this is the case open a case. Maybe youll get an explanation.
