Hey people,
I'm about to.start my amazon affiliate journey and just thought to get a last minute advice from those of you who have experience with Amazon Associates.

Though I'm leaning more towards the store format, I was wondering which has worked out best for you guys.
The review/buy guide or the store with a blog attached.

Better to build a review site because Amazon don't approve stores that easily when you made your first sale. In the past they've approved stores but they've changed their policy.

A store is ok, I build a lot of these. You need to make it worthwhile for the visitor, don't just scrape descriptions, make them unique. Amazon hates sites trying to be " little amazon's "

Mini Amazon's?¿ lol. Wouldn't it be better to have no description? I am purchasing Profit Azon's package for this and I love the look.and content of it, but I am trying to get all facts straight least I encounter the dreaded ban.

How is earning.with the.stores if you don't mind me.asking. Did it start of pretty low or moderate? Did you use any.paid ads or that's not allowed on.Amazon's TOS?

Thanks for.your first reply O:-) XD

How can you have no product descriptions in your store, what value is that?

You won't rank for the very items that you want people to find on your site without descriptions, etc.

Huh? I guess I didn't explain that properly :p . Rather than no description, i'd say very minimal. From all i've read so far, this seems to be the tick that Amazon hits you a ban with. Oh and i forgot to ask, how do you normally keep up with their TOS update? Do they send it via email?
Sorry for all the questions, I just want to get it right :)

Well you always write a good description for the product, once you belong to the amazon associate program they email you with changes

Review site. Unless you're mass targeting 10ms keywords or hoping for silo structure to get you ranking no point in making a store really. Just get people to amazon.

Hi! What do you mean by 10ms Keywords? My one problem with review sites is a preliminary or should I say novie poll with people around me(average internet users, work offline) and they stated they would trust a store like format due its familarity and "supposed" security, this baffled me honestly as i am likely to visit a reddit or amazon directly for reviews before buying. Three of the people mentioned that takibg too long and if "google" puts it on the first page theres a reason why(colour me confused :/ ).

In my case the continous writing of reviews makes me cringe lol.

There are so many review sites now I don't bother making them. Stores are better with a blog. There are more ways to get traffic than Google, you should never solely rely on Google, always diversify your traffic sources
