I received this email from amazon yesterday

Greetings from the Amazon.co.uk Associates Program.

We are contacting you because we have noticed that you are purchasing and/or registering the term "xxxxxxxxx" and variations of this term with search engines and requested that you refrain from this Activity. Per the Operating Agreement:

4. Referral Fees

In addition, you may not: (j) seek to purchase or register any keywords, search terms or other identifiers that include the word "amazon", "endless," "kindle," "javari" or any other trademark of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates, or variations or misspellings thereof (for example "ammazon," "amaozn," "kindel," "endlss," "enldess," "javary," etc.) ("Proprietary Terms") for use in any search engine, portal, sponsored advertising service or other search or referral service. From time to time we may request that you cause any applicable Web search provider to exclude Proprietary Terms from keywords used to display your advertising content in association with search results, assuming the provider of such Web search engine offers such exclusion capabilities. If we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have engaged in any of the foregoing activities or, as the case may be, refused promptly to comply with a request from us to exclude Proprietary Terms from any keyword as mentioned above, or have violated any other term of this Agreement, we may (without limiting any other rights or remedies available to us) withhold any referral fees otherwise payable to you under this Agreement and/or terminate this Agreement.

As you have failed to comply with this point, your Associates account has been closed. Thank you for your interest in the Amazon.co.uk Associates Program and best of luck in the future.

Warmest regards

the trademark bidding wasnt intentional and i had other ppc campaigns i was doing with amazon products and were also converting well and i was wondering if anyone has ever got this email and still gotten paid because normally when amazon bans affiliates they say you will not receive futhur payment but i didnt get that and i have contacted them that the trademark bidding wasnt intentional and the keywords i was using probably triggered the keywords and they also said in the email that they warned me and i failed to comply but i didnt get any email from amazon saying i was trademark bidding so i was wondering if anyone has ever gotten in this situation before and got paid and can you let me know what you think.

thanks and would be looking forward to replies.

So were you using Amazon related keywords, or just product name keywords like "nintendo" or "playstation"?

I can see how they would get pissed off with "kindle"

This might be seem like a newbie question but how they know what you bid on?

So soryr-please don't flame. :)

All the best for you future activities. Don't give up just hit hard.
