Hi guys,
lately, i have been trying over and over to sign up with amazon associate affiliate program, unfortunately, every time i end up facing an error message at the "Identity Verification" step saying, and i quote, "Amazon is prohibited from making calls to the number you have entered. Please enter a different phone number and try again."
I tried using different numbers, but no luck. it seems that it is a country line issue, however the country i live in has no line issues, i always use US based services and make and receives calls from the US.
I am kind of lost in here and i don't know what to do next, i contacted their support regarding the problem, and their reply was a kind of classical one with no help at all ...
"our technical staff is aware of this situation and are working on a resolution. Due to the proprietary nature of the issue, we can't offer any additional insight or action on this matter."
After doing some search in the internet i came to find that this same reply they send to people for years and the problem is still the same.
so i came here seeking hope that maybe some of you out there has faced this problem before and in way he/she found a workaround to verify their account.
if so, please let me know what should i do to get this fucking account verified, your help will be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance
