I never did much Amazon but started now .....

I did read a while ago that big G is devaluating a page with a lot of amazon links in the rankings.
i make a review page ( surprise :) ) where i review several products. So there will be like 10 links to Amazone. Tis can influence the ranking negative already ???
Someone has any news on this ???

so maybe its better to make a page (which i try to rank) and do internal links on the products ... make a extra product page where a put the amazon link.

This is better or does it make no difference ?

thanks

bump ........ no-one ???

I'm sure only 10 links won't be a big deal...If you have 500 links, then that's a different story.

Also how about cloaking the links, rather than having exposed Amazon affiliates links? Something like yourwebsite dot com/goto/amazonproduct

i don't like to cloak or do crap .. i am building a good page not a chunk and burn.

anybody knows if ranking is negative improved by some amazon links ?

You can check your niche top 50 - 100 sites and see if they are using amazon affiliate links directly or not.

If you are not doing churn and burn, better not to take risk and cloak your links to avoid any possible penalty .

Is it real that Google are devaluating this kind of pages? why do G. do that? :/

Affiliate links will never damage your page as long as they are legit links. I have personally used 20+ affiliate links on my pages and they are fine.
However, to stay extra secured, no-follow your affiliate links. All affiliate marketers do that. It is the safest path.

Do you have any articles linking to the affiliate your are promoting on your page?

No no don't worry, just make these links "nofollow" and build your back-links and i'm sure you will rank better in Google...

You don't need to nofoIIow amazon links. And just 10 aff links won't have a negative affect on your ranking.
