Actually, this is incorrect, I have been through this myself when I use to advertise via Facebook, one thing you should know about Amazon, is they are incredibly vague... I have had to message their support so many times about their policy as they are ambiguous... my website, they mean a website, not specifically the one you own. A good example is if you have a facebook page, although you do not own Facebook, you own the page on facebook. The reason they are ambiguous is that they can have a high ban rate and keep profits up.
I once had to give them my exact scenario as I thought it was over the line of their policy. They emailed me back to say it was ok to do. a few weeks late BANHAMMER. I had to then show them the screenshot their support sent me and got unbanned. This is Amazon for you.
OP. I suggest if you use Pinterest, you email them first and ask them if its ok. They tried to ban me with £3000 profit, after showing them the email they sent me, they unbanned me and deposited my funds. Keep yourself covered, amazon love to fuck people over.
