So I am switching it up, I decided to go and spread out a little bit more to make some more passive income. I usually keep the niche in porn, but now decided to get into amazon affiliate.

So I am in the process of creating my own website, I have bought my domain with the3 words all keywords in a search and catchy.

I know google will hurt you for just outbound linking and among other things. I do not see much written on amazon affiliate that is recent the newest one being from 2016/2017??

So my question is, is this a dead avenue? and also does anyone have anything recent they can link to help me in this journey? I have searched multiple keywords on here to no avail.

Amazon are a huge marketplace and although a lot of their commissions are really low, you get paid on all different products. So if your niche is fitness and someone buys a bed, you get paid on the bed too.

If your site is good, the content informative and you rank for the keywords, Amazon is a good place to start.
 
i just wonder, if you gonna have your own website, why don't you simply just dropshipp the products ? then you would earn much more than the 6% that greedy Amazon offer you

Never really looked it to that to be honest. If its what I am thinking the issue I could see if building trust for someone to purchase a product from my website, than them clicking a link and seeing its amazon and they feel safe.
 
It's not dead. My revenue has been steadily growing since I launched my website in 2017, with minimal time and almost no monetary investment (domain name and hosting, that's it). I'm currently doing $300 USD/mo and I've probably put a total of 30 hours into it over two years.
 
Look at the native shopping ads. You can put it at the end of an article something like that
 
Amazon Affiliates aren’t dead — the ones I know of are thriving! Obviously, there are more sites that don’t make it than sites that do, but still, perseverance is key. Just have a solid business strategy and you’ll be able to make money with an Amazon Affiliate site too. I hope you make it big!

It's Good if you put valeabe time in websites and have Good Team of writers as content matters in amazon affiliate.

Sign up for an account. Start a free blog on Blogger.com, Register a Twitter account. Surf Amazon and when you find a product you think is cool, post about it to your Blog and share the link on Amazon. That's the basics of getting started.

Because amazon affiliate is a passive income?
You will not have to deal with customer service etc. All you have to do is create killer content in your niche add your affiliate link work on ranking and watch? :anyway:
 
Amazon affiliate is far from dead. The key to success is picking the right niche and keywords. I still stumble across niches with little to no big authority sites and still just micro niche sites dominating .

Amazon affiliate is easy to get in to. Start with it and once you're getting decent traffic and have a good amount of content (informative and affiliate) then you can look at other networks. They often pay more and have longer cookie duration.
