Amazon Affiliate/Yahoo Answers Method

the conversion rates haven't been too good on this yet, hopefully a couple of my answers get ranked though. :p

This is semi-related. Apparently you don't get commission if you post a shortened url of your affiliate link on Twitter & Facebook because it's a TOS violation, since you're not using "your site." Not really sure if that applies to direct linking on YA though...

Guys, cloak your links. Always cloak your links, this way it will not stand out like a sore thumb. :)

All my commissions are through bit.ly URLS on twitter accounts. I've got all my commissions so far.. bit.ly blanks the referrer I believe, maybe that's why

Did you hyperlinked all your answers to a single landing page/ affiliate url or did you made seperate blogger or free blogs, wrote some description about the amazon affiliate product and hyperlinked your blogger blog to the answer you quoted? because i am afraid that yahoo doesn't likes too many links pointing towards same affiliate url or website from yahoo answers accounts? how do you manage this?

This probably won't make anyone a ton of cash, and it might have been mentioned before, but I thought I'd share because it made me 30-70 bucks a day back when I used this method.

First, you'll need an Amazon affiliate account and a Yahoo Answers account.

The great thing about Yahoo Answers pages is that they often rank high in Google and they stick for a long time.

So, do an advanced search in Yahoo Answers for questions like, "Where can I buy" or "Where do I get" or "I want to buy" or "Does anyone know here I can get a", etc. These are people who are ready to buy a product, but they can't find it. They're normally just completely computer illiterate.

Now go to Amazon and find the product they're looking for. Make an affiliate link for it and post it as an answer. Not only will they click on your link and buy it, but when someone searches Google with the same question, you'll make sales when they click your link, too.

Also, did you know that whenever someone clicks on your Amazon affiliate link, you get commission on anything they buy on Amazon in the next 24 hours?

So let's say a teenager clicks on your link to go check out a Twilight journal or something, and then they get off the computer. Their dad comes in the room, turns on the computer, and goes to Amazon to buy a brand new $3,000 camera. You'll get commission for that.

Speaking of big ticket items, try to find questions on YA about what the best kind of camera or TV or camcorder to buy is. Then find a review, copy it into your answer, and put up an affiliate link to the item. Huge commissions to be made!

hey sorry for bump but is this thing still working ? did anyone try it ?

It works for me using blackhat code breaker.

You can't stick your url answer even in the source section if you have level 1 profile. You should have level 2 for your url to be clickable.

I am answering lots of yahoo answers questions each day on 3 accounts on 3 IPs. I am using a redirection subdomain on my own site. This is pointing to the page where I got the blackhat code breaker setup. I then submit this url to digg.com.

In Yahoo answers, I am using the digg.com story as the answer source, that is only 2 clicks away to your page and Yahoo answers see digg as a reputable site so you are safe. If you directly link your yahoo answer to your locked (blackhat code breaker) page, you will get banned. Trust me, I've tried.

I got an ample amount of CPA signups each day about $20 - $30 doing this.

Is this methode Still working? I wanna give a try and don't want to get banned

it is better to cloak your links. I know a couple of people that got banned in cj and other affiliate networks because they put their links on websites they don't own. For example, they put them on forums, signatures, and etc. I wouldn't risk it with amazon though, I'm making enough money that I don't really want to jeopardize it.

This works as described.

When I just got here at BHW I used to try every method out there, and with only 3 fake YA accounts and proxys, posted like 3 questions and answered them myself and gave best answer to all. All questions answered with my aff link.

The only extra thing I did was search for some high volume keywords about my product/niche on google keyword tools (just because I thought that if that KW was highly searched on google, why not YA?).

Seriously it was a 20 minutes work. And with just that I made $100(my currency) through the month (USD50).

I am now waiting for my language to be supported on that YA bot that a member is selling here to check if scaling this up will earn me more money.

here is wat i did a while ago

i started a question starting with buy then i made some accounts to answer here is a trick i did to get answers i want to quickcontentwizard typed in my keyword it gave me a 100 word mumbo jumbo article bout that keyword and then i paste it into the answer box. then just posted my aft link in the sources box.
