Amazon Affiliate - WooZone users READ THIS!

I'm still struggling with Woozone and my Indian web dev is no help at the moment. I'm not too bothered about prices, as I want to have around 15k products on the site but what I am concerned about is that it doesn't let me add more than one product to the cart and only 100 products can be imported. Something isn't right, maybe the theme is crap as well - Shopera?

The theme I use is Kingdom. It was a part of WooZone's bundle pack.
So your prices are outdated?

Yeah outdated prices. Some are higher some are lower so I'm not too bothered. Yes I'll lose some sales but I'm planning on ranking 1000s of keywords with this so there's going to be a scrub rate.

I got given the license from a friend of mine that bought it, so I don't have much access to any updates or anything maybe that's the problem?

This is for anyone that is considering WooZone or any other products from the developers of WooZone. Do yourself a favor and find a different plugin. Even though I have sites that use this plugin I believe it is in my best interest to find a different plugin for my next site. The developers of WooZone are unreliable.

Be careful with this plugin. Many people got banned because of it.

hello sunnyd3,

mind sharing more info why people got banned using this plugin? The info will help us and other out a lot before they decide to use this plugin

Hi

I have come through a new thing. All my prices were outdated as discussed above. I have tried all settings and cron jobs even through my server. But no luck.

But I just changed one setting in Amazon Config > Plugin Setup and all prices gets updated same as Amazon.

1. Show Amzon URL as Buy URL - Yes

2. On-site Cart - NO

And it works. All prices gets updated. Only On-site Cart section setting did this.

The only problem is I can't add products to cart on my site which is very important to keep customer there. But the question is if prices gets fixed just by changing On-site Cart to NO why not it worked the same when set to YES?

Hmm, very unsettling information about WooZone listed here.

I was still wondering though, how do you guys using WooZone for ecommerce shops and the sort sort out the oblligatory date stamp and disclaimer. Amazon requires you to do this:

Amazon.com Price: $32.77 (as of 01/07/2008 14:11 PST - Details)
Amazon.com Price: $32.77 (as of 14:11 PST - More info)

This is what the Amazon agreement say:

Amazon.com Product Advertising API License Agreement:

You will include a date/time stamp adjacent to your display of pricing or availability information on your application if you obtain Product Advertising Content from a Data Feed, or if you call the Product Advertising API or refresh the Product Advertising Content displayed on your application less frequently than hourly. However, during the same day on which you requested and refreshed the pricing and availability information displayed on your application, you may omit the date portion of the stamp. Examples of acceptable messaging include:

Amazon.com Price: $32.77 (as of 01/07/2008 14:11 PST - Details)
Amazon.com Price: $32.77 (as of 14:11 PST - More info)

Additionally, you must either include the following disclaimer adjacent to the pricing or availability information or provide it via a hyperlink, popup box, scripted popup, or other similar method: "Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on [relevant Amazon Site(s), as applicable] at the time of purchase will apply to the purchase of this product." In the above examples, "Details" and "More info" would provide a method for the end user to read the disclaimer.

So how do you guys using WooZone solve this issue?

1. Is this issue still existing with the newest version v9 (released a few days ago)?
Want to start soon an Amazon Shop with WooZone (already bought)

2. Is there a solution for this? If so how to fix it? Which kind of cron job should I use?

nope, nothing is fixed. actually it is more screwed up. I now have a whole lot of other problems!

There is no solution for price updating?

What is the new kind of problems?

This is quite sad really reading all these comments, because the plugin seems to be a great thing.. .if It works -

I too am frustrated with both the plugin and the sellers of the plugin, who quite frankly, don't have a care in the world - They will tell you to submit a support ticket, although you need to pay extra, and even then, you don't seem to get any real support to actually fix the problem, instead they will tell you to do things you have already done.

If anyone at all is smart enough to fix the price issues, please please could you post here and help folks like me out -

I did explain it to them clearly, or so I Thought...

"When you have items with variations and then they go on sale on Amazon – why don’t they automatically update on the site as on sale? – Instead, It looks like you need to go through each item separately (if you happened to notice they were on sale on amazon) to update the price? ( Which is impossible to do when you have a lot of products to keep checking every day )"

After reading this, it actually does not seem to only be items with variations? -

some of the price differences are crazy, I had something on my site for £300, on Amazon it was now £95 :(

And also, After reading the posts here, how they can say " There is no issue with the plugin" when so many of us seem to be describing the same issue?

It looks like they are aware of the pricing issue, but don't want to put off potential buyers of the plugin, since now, they have hidden my comments to the public on codecanyon :( - looks like they just don't want to help in resolving the issue, so I guess we are stuck

DId any of you actually setup the cron-job, and deactivated the Wordpress one?

Is this fixed yet for the pricing updates cause im working on my amazon site

I'm also wondering if this has been fixed yet?

My problems with WooZone:

- sync products CHRON updates every 2 minutes and the draw on server in terms of memory is colossal for sites with thousands of products. When I set up my own CHRONs (via cPanel) and decreased CHRON frequency to 20 minutes apart it cut the memory usage by a massive amount.

- initial image imports work, but later image synchronisation NEVER works

There are some other buggy things that happen with menus that weird me out. I'm keen to swap WooZone out for AffiliateWP or WooCommerce Affiliates Pro now. I've had just about enough...

The biggest issue I have faced is that the price isn't synced (against Amazon TOS) even if the cron was successfully. For this reason I did disabled all prices in my shop and now I use a button "Visit Shop"

woo zone was a nightmare for me, the magical cookie never fell on my visitors that went through, after 12000 visits supposedly no sales. when my girls had actually purchased a few times already. i just use it upload and make much more. I just turn it off and after importing and i save tons of time

Very buggy and customer service is a farce. The Envato support period is a joke anyway, but when you recieve absolutely no service within that period, it's a kick in the teeth.

At least prosociate allows unlimited installs.
