One of my Amazon affiliate website's rank has dropped from 28th March. I am little confused for two reasons. One is server connectivity error and another is Google update. Can Anybody tell me that server connectivity can be the major reason for dropping google rank?

In the webmaster tools, there is a message on server connectivity that Google couldn't access or crawl your site because of your server down.

Which one can be the major issue for falling my rank and organic traffic?

If you got a message in WMT I would first try to take care of that before making any assumptions that it was the Google update. Move to another host asap.

My Amazon Affiliate Sites are doing so much better in the last days, even one of them outranked huge competitors, So no it's not a drop in ranking for those kind of sites.

Of course. If your server was experiencing issues or downtime when Googlebot crawled then it looks as though the site is not live, so it stands to reason that this would impact on your rankings.

If your server is now back up and working then once your site is crawled again, you should see rankings start to recover.

Thank you very much for giving some great reply. Can anybody suggest me some best hostings for Amazon affiliate site?

Those kind of sites tends to have a little amount of visitors per day.
Anything less than $10/m will work perfectly.
Check: Siteground - Bluehost.. they're good

Thanks all of you guys. My keyword position is getting back to the previous position. There is an on-page SEO problem. I figured it out and solved it.

Did you have any toxic links? then Disavow them.
If not, then add more to your content, but I'm sure that you've a problem with your link profile.

I've seen someone on this thread say he got his AMZ affiliate site outrank a huge competitor. How do you do that with a new website?
