Here it is, great rates right?

What normally would be a 50-100 dollar day for me is not even 12 dollars now.

Do Amazon still honour the 8% if the product was brought before the 21st and shipped after? I'm trying to work it out from my dashboard.

I think from what I see any commission earned today regardless is given the new rates.

They are giving the new rate for anything shipped after the 21st no matter when it was sold.

At 1% commission, they are going to be losing most of the affiliates but I think they already know that.

Just promote something else. Who knows when Amazon will abolish affiliate program. I suspect this will be soon especially with such drastic cut on commission. I won't waste my time on a business model that is so uncertain.

I only started about 9 months ago and usually make $2 a day. You had pretty good daily earnings that I was aiming to ge to but this looks awful now.

I feel for you.

Saw the same low earning on my dashboard. But enough complaining. It is either we stick to it or try other alternatives.

Can you also post a picture of another day earlier to this? Just to see the comparison.
Either way, it's pretty bad.

Considering your new average commision rate is 1% of total sales, So now to make up your old earnings, you would need to sell $5k worth of products everyday just to make what 50 bucks ? Thats utterly ridiculous.

Thats $150k /month in sales for FUCKING $1.5K /Month

$1.5 Million /year in sales for $18K /Year

You're better off dropshipping the product directly from the supplier within the US or Uk, while consistently discouraging your buyers from purchasing the thing on Amazon while also providing them with a Amazon affiliate link in case they just wanna buy it from Amazon regardless.

My thinking regarding Amazon is that their goal is to eventually flush out all of the affiliates and not have any need for them.

It seems due to the Covid-19, sales are up and this is why the commission is dropping now - it's another one of their stages to no longer having an affiliate programme at all.

Ethical? No (but what large company is), but understandable where a business is concerned.

With Google coming up with their new program to sell your products free,Amazon will be losing its market soon.

This aff program start to be a joke, I wonder why amazon doesn't have any serious competition yet
