Amazon Affiliate Niche Website from Zero to $1000

Firstly, I'm sorry for any grammar mistakes. English isn't my main language.
I'm from Egypt and started IM a few years ago.
This is my first serious Amazon Niche website and I think it's doing well so far.

I hope these details inspire some of our members to take action as soon as possible and of course feedback is fully appreciated too.

I started this website on 15 May and it has 15 articles, 4 Best Articles 3500 words average, 7 Single product review 900 words average and 4 info articles 700 words average.

Niche: Home-related products

Average Product Price: $100-$400

Commission: %8.

SEO: Gray hat SEO ( Blog comments - profile backlinks - web2.0 - PBN - EDU backlinks )

Investment until now:$720

Profits for now: $435 ( Some Bucks from Ca - UK )

May traffic:- 82 visitors - Profits:- $9.92

June traffic:- 211 - Profits:- $0

July traffic:- 510 - Profits:- $23.36

August traffic:- 354 - Profits:- $65.38

September traffic:- 509 - Profits:- $0

October traffic:- 429 - Profits:- $37.90

November traffic:- 904 - Profits:- $115

December traffic:- 1049 - Profits:- $183 + 12 orders not shipped yet.

*** Note: In September there was an issue with my links and the main product was out of stock so I figured out this late but it works now.

Your backlinks are more on the blackhat side. Yes, you can totally reach a grand per month, you're already doing ok. You need to scale it. Write more, target more. Good luck!

Although i have this question about the way to pick a niche :
Would you rather do the keyword research first, find easy keywords then chose a niche around them, or would you look for a niche with products in some specific way ( price range for exemple ) the do the keyword research ?

What i mean is, is it more important to find the magic keyword that would let you rank easy for a lot of traffic, or is it more important to work on a niche you like and start building your authority little by little and more importantly get started asap ?

What I did was:
Find a niche with high commission rate then go deeper looking for high price products in this niche and finally find good keywords related to these products.
